Clean and well equipped
Horrible for young people or families . The staff is not friendly , not smiling at all, they hardly know English, not welcoming attitude and specially not nice at all to children . The other guests are mostly elder people and not for families.

The spa was very welcoming
The rooms were dated and poor quality

Very nice family apartment - especially the living room/kitchen space and updated bathroom, nice pool and sauna area. We appreciated flexibility to accept pets (we travel with our cat) and organise a gluten free breakfasts for us. Overall, it was a good stay and we would gladly go there again.
The quality of the 2 bedrooms in the apartment wasn't equal - only one was specious with a comfy bed. The second one was very small and the bed was very uncomfortable. Would only recommend it when staying with children but not suitable for 2 adults. It would be also nice if the spa/pool shower area had a soap or any kind of shower gel - anything to wash yourself before and after using the pool or sauna.

Very good breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable room although a little warm due to the outside temperature.
The hotel needs some updating. One point in particular is the lights in the bathroom which give out far too much heat.

I liked that it was quiet and that the staff had given me an extra duvet to put under my arthriitic shoulders. I was not interested in using the spa facilities which I would think a lot of guests would use. I like that hiking and gondola rides were close by
that it did not have a restaurant. The restaurant that they referred me to ( only 1 of 2 in the area) basically ignored me for over 25 minutes until I talked to them in French. I found that standard for that area. They had a huge parking area you had a walk a short distance to. It was off the highway but on a road that at times only one car could fit so you may have had to back up, you certainly have to careful driving that road

Breakfast was absolutely awesome, Swimming-pool
excellent, garage dedicated for the bike with pump
ad all tools available.
Room even if outside was 8-9 degree and the heaters
were off was too hot inside the room.
No dinner available in the structure ( But they provide
the transport to the near restaurant)

SPA and cleaning are the best within the property
breakfast with not many fresh food and rooms are quite old style

Nice pool with saunas, pets friendly place, electric car charging available
No gluten-free choice for breakfast, pool could be opened a bit longer then till 20:00.

The hotel is nicely located above the main street and close to the furnicular station (10 min walk). The breakfast has a good selection (typical swiss options such as bread, eggs, cheese, meat and yogurt). The staff was friendly and helpful. A bonus point is the indoor pool and sauna which we enjoyed after a long day of hiking. We stayed there during summer when it was exceptionally hot outside, so having an (indoor) pool available was very nice.
As the weather was very hot outside (+33°C), the room got heaten up very quickly even when closing all the blinds. At night, it was almost not possible to sleep because the room itself had a temperature of more than 30 degrees. There is no fan or AC available in our room, so we just laid in bed, sweat was running down our bodies... As it is not uncommon in that area that it gets hot during summer, I would expect to have at least a fan in the room to circulate the air.

Staff was very kind and room was very clean
Walking to the hotel from the train was a little difficult, because it's uphill and you have to walk down this one lane road that has a cliff on the other side. But it's only like a 10 min walk
3.9
Big, clean and warm swimmingpool, that’s the biggest plus if this place.
Not easy communication, most pf the staff speaks only german.
No chance to have dark in the rooms, and very hot.

Breakfast was terrible without any vegetables.

Breakfast was very good. Staff were very friendly. The masseur was excellent. Brine swimming pool was excellent and therapeutic
Overall liked the weekend very much. This was the second time I visited the hotel. Will surely go back there
The room included a kitchenette, but that was not mentioned in the brochure. Also English translation of the brochure will help attract international clients. Since the location is excellent and services good, it is an ideal location for outdoor holiday

Room size - with a dining table, sofa and armchair. Balcony with a lovely mountain view.
Staff are very helpful and friendly.
Booked a great massage too.
Sauna and steam great.
Good, plentiful breakfast!
Could do with a little make over, but that's a minor point

Inclusion of spa (sauna, steam room, mineral pool).
Daytime bus commute to the village below to go to Riederalp via cable car.
Bit dated/old furnishings and fittings. No food offered at night and you had to walk a long way down hill (and back up afterwards) to the associated restaurant in the village below.
Parking was available but you were charged extra for the public car park use (overnight).
We were accused by a staff member on the front desk that we had booked two rooms and should pay for both even though we only booked one room. He complained to us that their admin mistake (my description) meant they had an empty room for the night and made us feel like it was our fault.

Breakfast is very good with lots of choice, fresh fruit, homemade muesli which was excellent, fresh eggs etc
Room was very spacious (superior room chosen) with v.comfortable bed & nice bathroom.
Wellness facilities are good, though decor a little old-fashioned - also had a hot stone massage which was GREAT!
The hotel location is actually up the hill in Breiten (about 10-15' walk down/up to Morel).
There's no restaurant for the evening at the hotel, so you have to go out for dinner. The hotel does provide a free shuttle service to/from the main restaurant in Morel (which is ok but not great) and also to/from the Riederalp ski lift (but you need to book that in advance & it only runs at certain times). So we ended up always going out by car & often having to pay extra for parking. Wouldn't want to stay here without a car to be honest.

Hmmmmm, I did not like much beyond the breakfast :-/
Where to start? This is NOT a 4 star hotel, not even close! Do not be fooled by old photos - this place is poorly maintained and not properly cleaned. It merits 2.5 stars at best! No restaurant, no bar, room was not well cleaned, paint peeling in bath...

Very friendly, cosy hotel. My room (superior) was very large with a terrace (would be great in summer). Good buffet breakfast. No restaurant but hotel provides a shuttle service in the evening to the restaurants in town. Hotel is a short but steepish climb up from the train/cable car stations. The spa is a good place to relax after a day in the snow (or a rainy day).

Very beautiful bedrooms, good breakfast ( big variety ), nice and calming spa and pool area, nicely located

Old-fashioned hôtel with huge rooms, that took me back to my childhood. Excellent service. Lovely swimming pool. Breakfast with a lot of variety. Very happy with my stay.
You have to go up the mountain 15 min to access the building on foot. Luckily I had no luggage. But there is a shuttle available that the hotel can organise for you from the bus/train stop.

The pool and sauna
Very old facility and you can tell, pretty old furniture, carpets, not up to date to 4 stars standards, over priced for what you get

My husband forgot his personal stuffs and they mailed them to us immediately. Very considerate and honest and friendly staff
mixed up with the billing - invoices

The room was a good size and the balcony was good. The area was nice and quiet.
The entire building was old and in desperate need of a renovation. The decor in the rooms wasn't appealing though the room size was good. There were no bathroom amenities which is something we are used to when staying in a 4 star establishment. The breakfast was really appalling - we opted for breakfast in our room (because when we arrived we were abruptly informed that the hotel was full and if we opted to eat in the breakfast room we would have to queue and wait). We ordered 2 types of bread and were served literally one slice of each in a paper bag. We ordered 1 fried egg with bacon which arrived cold and swimming in oil.
3.9
Way too expensive for non existing service and mediocre hotel
The staff is terrible
