Nothing went well from the start of our arrival. We were met by a surly female who was rude and unhelpful. She only wanted to complain that there were too many guests for breakfast. Her attitude was of a couldn't care less about guests.
The whole place in our opinion was a shambles and guests were expected to look after themselves. We were shown a room in the basement area which was more like a cell with two windows. You had to use three keys to get into the sleeping area and the view was looking over a river towards an industrial area.The room door handle came of in my hand and was difficult to replace due to the darkness of the area. The bathroom was very small and the door to the room was broken at the bottom. For nearly £700.00 for three nights this was daylight robbery. We did not stay here.

While not in the centre of town the location is amazing as the views are incredible. It is just a short 9 minute walk to the train station / town centre of Interlaken.

We had the best stay at the BnB. Breakfast was amazing, the location is excellent and convenient. I’d recommend it to everyone.

The gasthof back terrace looks over the valley and was so enjoyable to relax on. The included breakfast was delicious! Staff were so friendly and helpful. They even packed us a nice little breakfast when we had to leave early. The shower in the room was small but worked very well! The Gasthof was close to a bus stop; busses arrived 2x per hour and quickly whisked us to Interlaken.
Our room was small and quite "rustic", so we spent much of our time on the terrace. We were in town during a hot spell, so our room was uncomfortably hot. We were provided with a small fan which helped somewhat. The bed was extremely bouncy... A move by one person would jostle the other one awake.

The staff were very helpful and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. There were buses to Interlaken Ost every 30 minutes, which takes only 7 minutes. By walk it is 20 minutes.

The staff, when we came said something bad. My son knew what did she say. In Germany. And she is not polite I think because we are guest and we pay for the hotel. We would like to put our luggage there, one staff offering help for us, but the other said no to the other staff.

It feels like home a way from home, and we really love the view while having our breakfast.
Didn’t asked to keep up the room but when we go back to our room after having our breakfast, the staff already started to do cleaning.

-3 mins walking distance to the bus stop (perfect place for 1 week vacation in interlaken). Bus no. 102
- breathtaking views from the terrace
-the room is superb and very clean with cute terrace.
- WIFI is too weak (in my room).
