Hotel Bernerhof is perfectly placed centrally in Grindelwald near to both the station and buses. There is also reasonably priced onsite hotel parking if you arrive by car. Our room, with completely private balcony, overlooked the mountains and was very quiet. It was much larger than anticipated with a good sized (family) bathroom. All the in-room/bathroom amenities you could wish for were provided by the hotel. This hotel was exceptionally clean. Lift straight from the entrance to all floors was very useful. The choice of breakfast items on offer was vast (hot & cold) and the room itself was light and bright with amazing views across the private terrace to the mountains. Staff throughout the hotel were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. Having stayed at other hotels previously in Grindelwald, this hotel is now our favourite choice. Also - free self-serve coffee in the residents lounge was a lovely surprise!

グリンデルバルトは、素晴らしい場所、アイガー北壁が目の前に見える。 このホテルは、とにかく、場所が良い、しかし、客室は古い。リフォームはされている。エレベーターは2人しか乗れない。狭い。1泊60,000円の部屋としては、評価が低い。でも場所がいい、目の前がアイガー北壁 朝食はチーズやハムがたくさんあり良いのだが、スタッフの対応があまり気持ちよくない。親切ではない。 2024年9月訪問、ターミナル駅からグリーンデンバルトまでの電車が工事で止まっているので、バスに乗る必要がある。1時間に2本あっても30分なので歩きたかったら歩いたらいいが、バスを使った方が賢明グリンデルバルトからターミナルまでは歩いて降りてもいいかもしれない。

Proximity to the train station & room direction facing the alps. Town is just a short walking distance.

Cramped rooms in Europe ? Was a real surprise to us, being Asians. Wait till the usage of the bathroom. Breakfast spread is mediocre that comes with the rooms...

We love the balcony near the breakfast room with great view of the mountains and the streets. Location of the hotel is unbeatable, easy walk to train, shops or start of a hike. Breakfast serves early so we can start our outings early.

Everything at this hotel was perfect! The area, the food, the staff, the room. Anything we needed they brought to us! Tons of fun! Beautiful place!
