We love the location and the staff, especially the spa the indoor pool and the massage. The pizza place is amazing

The breakfast can be a little better and provide some dishes for kids. . The food can be a bit more creative and value for money.

Some duvets seem in use for long time

Location. The Lake. Just wow. Stunning views, especially in the morning. Amasing hiking around the lake up in the mountains. Lot's of entertainment for the whole family. The hotel staff did their best to make us feel comfortable. E.g. offered us to serve tea outside at the lake, when we wanted to be out and enjoy the nature after dinner. We were with kids and renting the boats for a ride on the lake was a a nice free entertainment for them. We had a family room with two bedrooms on the 3rd floor with a balcony and mountain view - very spacious, clean and comfortable. Big enough to have a dinner for 7 persons, which we enjoyed with our friends one evening. As a tip: there's a barbecue place with great views up in the mountain (there's only one telecabine as far as I understand). So buy everything for BBQ and go up there for BBQ lunch - great place.

The overn was not working in the kitchen in the room. And we needed it. It's Switzerland, so, quite expensive.

Lovely view on the Lake. If I had known that this was an apartment with a full kitchen, I would have prepared meals there. The staff were incredible. I am very familiar with Schwarzsee as my ancestors were from here and I have spent many a summer holiday on the lake. The view from the balcony was breathtaking and the sounds of cow bells and mountain silence, brought me "home". There is a sense of gemutlichkeit . Upon leaving the hotel the staff presented us with a gift of homemade honey. What a lovely touch!

I didn't like that the dining facility accepted orders until 20.30 for dinner. We were forced to go to another hotel to dine. I never got to appreciate the "degustation" of the chef's menu. As a travel professional, I would recommend a 21.30 cutoff for residents.

There was an additional Sfr 20 charged related to a tax to be there on Saturday, which was not written anywhere when I made the reservation, first time I see that
