room gets extremely hot

Não existir elevador e isso não estar adequadamente informado na descrição do hotel. Não haver estacionamento que conduzisse diretamente ao nosso andar (3. Andar) pois o estacionamento fica no 2. Andar e o hóspede é obrigado a subir um lance de escada com a bagagem. O atendimento da funcionária Sandra foi horrível. Eu me enganei ao fazer a minha reserva, colocando um dia anterior ao correto. Telefonei para o hotel, bem antes das 18 horas, informando o meu equívoco e a Sandra foi implacável, dizendo que nada poderia fazer. Eu havia pago antecipadamente duas diárias. Sei que o erro foi meu. No entanto, ao chegar, não houve um mínimo de solidariedade por parte da funcionária Sandra, que logo me informou que eu havia perdido integralmente o valor da diária (mais de 300 CHF), pois ela alegou não haver conseguido nenhum outro hóspede no nosso lugar, e secamente nos informou que deveríamos deixar o Hotel às 10 horas da manhã, pois não havia mais disponibilidade para ficarmos a segunda noite, como pretendíamos. Acho que num setor turístico como esse, ao menos poderia ter nos sido oferecida alguma coisa, como um “late check out”, um jantar (inclusive jantamos no hotel, pois chegamos tarde), ou, no mínimo, um drink de boas vindas. Recebi um “cartão de descontos” que não servia pra nada no hotel, somente míseros descontos em algumas atrações da cidade. Em resumo, na qualidade da categoria de Genius 2 que sou no Booking, NÃO recomendo esse hotel, que obriga o pagamento antecipado, não isenta da taxa de cancelamento (sendo que fiz contato com o Hotel menos de 1 hora após a minha reserva, assim que percebi o erro da data), e ainda trata muito mal os seus hóspedes.

The view was amazing! We also get honeymoon treats from the staff, thank you! The staff also suggest our itinerary. The room was okay, but the terrace was wow, the best view we ever see in hotel terrace. Food was okay too.

Stairs hahaha thankfully we only get 2nd floor so no issue. There is only a heater (no AC) so the circulation pretty bad i guess, but we open a bit of the window to get the air flow.

Beautiful room, with a spectacular view of the waterfall. We had a "Valley View - Holz 100" room - totally worth it in my opinion! The room was clean and spacious, with all the facilities you would expect. Very good buffet breakfast available from 7:30-10:00. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location for the Wengernalpbahn - just 2 minutes away on foot.

We found the bed and pillows a little soft, but not too bad. A bit more variety on the restaurant menu would have been nice. We personally found the local region dishes not so much to our taste and would have preferred a few more international options. But what we had was hearty and tasty, though not top notch perhaps for the price.

The room was spacious and well-appointed, with a stunning view of the waterfall. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast at the hotel was absolutely superb. There was a differant selection of fresh and delicious choices. The dining area clean and inviting with very nice view of the mountains. I particularly enjoyed the fresh milk :) The hotel's location couldn't have been better. It was situated right in the heart of the mountains, within walking distance of major attractions and lively entertainment districts. I loved being able to explore the village on foot, and the nearby train and bus station made it easy to access other parts of the village. Additionally, there were numerous excellent restaurants and shops within a short walking distance, adding to the overall convenience of the location.

Great location, friendly staff, breakfasts were great. We had a delicious dinner there - in fact, the best one in the valley.

The rooms feel a little old and it could use some updating in the decor. We felt that it could be a little more upscale, especially given the cost.

The hotel has a very beautiful terrace and garden with views of the Sraubach waterfall and the glaciers on the mountains. Very convenient to the station. Will stay here again if we return to Lauterbrunnen

They could use an elevator. I understand that they will put one in starting in November.
