Well equipped and cosy, like a home from home. Dave and Patricia have thought of everything. Dave gave some great recommendations, was super friendly and picked us up and dropped us at the train station, impeccable host.
Chalet is only 15 min walk to town, along the river, which means you're close to everything without being in the busyness of Lauterbrunnen. Amazing views out of the windows!
Nothing, all excellent. However, beware the cat that is around, she is friendly and loves a stroke but avoid doing so when she lies down in front of you, you'll get a scratch!

Stunning property in a superb quiet location a short walk from Lauterbrunnen. Well equipped and very clean and comfortable.
The hosts well very welcoming and accommodating.

Was an idyllic chalet with gorgeous views and only about 800m from the town centre (can walk or there is a bus). Was very warm and comfortable. Our family of 4 loved it. Very close to ski slopes (we only tobogganed). Kitchen had everything you could need and was a washing machine and dryer. Great for a family with lots of washing to do.

Ev sahibi Dave mükemmel biri. Geç saatte geldiğimiz için bizi tren istasyonundan arabasıyla aldı, valizlerimizi taşımamıza yardımcı oldu ve bizim önceden sobayı yakıp evi ısıtmıştı. Dönüşte de yine aynı şekilde valizlerimizi taşımamıza yardımcı oldu ve arabasıyla bizi tren istasyonuna bıraktı. Çok ilgili, yardımsever biri. Bir kez de buradan teşekkür etmek isteriz.

Chalet Elza was a delightful place to stay. The location was outside of Lauderbrunnen town; a 10-minute walk along the river. Comfortable bed, thoughtfully stocked with everything you need, and excellent hosts.
The door frames are low and my husband repeatedly hit his head going through the bedroom door at night.

Quaint, peaceful, lots of amenities, garden is wonderful. Thoughtful and response owners. Pick up and drop off to train station was a nice treat.
Loved the stay!
.70 mile walk to the train station. This didn’t bother us as it was a peaceful location, but if you needed to run by the chalet or drop something off, if is more challenging. Not an issue though for us! Just a heads up in case walking a lot is challenging for anyone.

Cosy and lovely, fully equipped kitchen, quiet neighbourhood, helpful host
It is cosy but also quite crowded for four people. The bathroom is quite small, the doorways of several rooms are low and my family keeps bumping their head throughout our stay for one night. At least some caution signage at the doorway and under the stairways at the kitchen would be helpful

This was our second stay at Chalet Elsa and we enjoyed it just as much as we did the first time.
The location is superb and within walking distance to Lauterbrunnen centre, the scenery stunning and the accommodation comfortable and cosy.

Loved the quaintness, the facilities (BBQ, table tennis table, hammock, Wilson the cat 😅)and we loved the peacefulness of being out in the countryside with a beautiful short walk into town. The Chalet is just wonderful! The owners were so lovely and very helpful too.

This adorable chalet provides cozy lodging and a tranquil setting. The kitchen is outfitted completely. The garden is a work of art. Dave picked us up at Bahnhof, took us to the chalet parking lot, and assisted us in bringing the bag into the flat. Dave was very understanding. Even though it's only 5 minutes from Lauterbrunnen's core, it offers a peaceful escape with stunning mountain views. Bus 142 departs from Lochbrücke, which is only a few minutes away from the chalet, every hour for Lauterbrunnen Bahnhof. We spent three days exploring the entire Jungfrau region.
I can't think of anything that we didn't like! I would recommend Chalet Elza to my friends and collegues.

Dave was very nice and went above and beyond. The chalet is very pretty and had a lot of amenities included like free washing machine and dryer, kitchen with utensils, hair dryer, games, etc. It also had a very nice fire place. It is a 15 min walk into the main town and is a pretty walk as well.
The ceiling are on the low side. Might need to duck your head if you are too tall. The water gets cold if you wash your clothes. There were completely cold water when I showered for 15 min and it takes a while to boil up again.

The hosts were very hospitable and friendly... especially Dave who was connected with us right day before the journey and till dropping at the station. Found him to be really helpful and he went out of the way to give suggestions to ease our trip ... We wish both of them great success in their hospitality business venture and highly recommend their place.

The location of the Chalet Elza was perfect for us. We travelled throughout Switzerland by train and the Chalet's close proximity to the train station at Lauterbrunnen was perfect. The Chalet Elza was very comfortable and well equipped. It was a wonderful place to return for the evening after busy days visiting various locations in Switzerland. The host was wonderful - very communicative on the day of our arrival and kept in contact with us so that he could pick us up (and our luggage) at the train station and bring us to the Chalet Elza as well as taking us back to the train station when we checked out. He was always very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. The walks to and from the train station during our visit were breathtaking - the beauty of the area is incredible. We wished that we had stayed longer in the Lauterbrunnen part of our Switzerland visit.
I honestly can't think of anything that we didn't like! I would highly recommend Chalet Elza to anyone who is looking for accommodations in the Lauterbrunnen area.

Dave met us at the door with the keys and let us have a look around. He then WhatsApp'd us loads of things to do and was great for the entire trip! He even offered to get the fire going for us on arrival!

The property is in a beautiful, peaceful location. It is cute, cozy and spotlessly clean.
Check in/check out was very easy and our hosts, Dave and Patricia were extremely helpful and accommodating.
We hope to return one day.

It is as beautiful as the photos show. It is a peaceful and comfortable place. The owners are very kind and helpful! The kitchen is very well equipped, and it has everything for cooking, including salt, oil, seasonings etc.
the main bedroom is very spacious and comfortable. My boys love the children room, and they were fighting for the bed with color changable light.

The location was top notch, just a few minutes to the trains and cable cars that offered travel throughout the entire Swiss Alps region. The chalet was clean, comfortable, quiet, but the location is definitely meant for people who can easily climb a steep incline path to reach the chalet and the staircases up to the chalet and inside to the bedrooms. One must also master their fire making skills during the colder months to keep the family room downstairs warm, but we were always kept with a supply of wood and kindling. There are space heaters in the bedrooms that will definitely keep you toasty warm. Wilson, the barn cat was a daily visitor we really looked forward to seeing, and Dave and Patricia were exceptional hosts always quick to respond to all messages. Would definitely stay here the next time we are in Lauterbrunnen.
Maybe a space heater downstairs for those who do not have fire making skills.

The apartment provides us a warm, clean and comfortable family. Surroundings are wonderful with nice views and perfect environment. Dave's couple are very nice and friendly. The cat (Wilson) is lovely and gave us a great time, fun and happiness!

Beautiful chalet with well equipped kitchen, comfy sofa and bed, and a fabulous fireplace that kept us toasty warm. The wi-fi was fast and whilst we didn’t use, there was a bbq and sauna too.
Was lovely listening to the water of the stream nearby at night.
The host was very friendly and accomodating.
We would be happy to stay again next time we return to Lauterbrunnen.

The chalet is beautifully decorated, very clean and smells amazing! We were very well welcomed by Dave, he lit the fire place and the chalet was warm and cosy when we arrived. The chalet surroundings are incredible. The living room has an amazing view of the mountain. Dave and Patricia are super friendly and very accommodating. They offered great support with tips about where to eat in the region and what to visit.

What a beautiful chalet! You can just sit outside and stare at the mountains. Stunning location! Easy walk to Lauterbrunnen. The chalet was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Lovely hosts as well and the sweetest cat.

Check in and check out time is not very ideal. Specifically check out time of 10am is too early. Just an honest observation, that does not mean stay was bad it was indeed wonderful.
