The Breakfast had a sumptuous spread of Indian and Continental choices. It was delicious.

The room service was far too expensive!
Not a great location. On booking.Com it looks like the hotel is right next to the beach, it isn’t!
We shorted our stay as we felt we’d rather stay in a better location.

Its been a good Experience. This is the third Gateway property i have stayed and its always a pleasure.
Just want to highlight that the Breakfast menu was pretty much the same both days and the food items could have been better like the authentic Kerela Food.
Food they served could have been better looking at the price being charged

THE LOCATION AND THE PROPERTY
THE HOTEL HAS RUN DOWN,FURNITURE,LOOKS OLD AND DAMAGED,THE SOFAS IN THE LOBBY ARE STAINED,THERE ARE CRACKS IN THE WASH BASIN AND TUB IN THE ROOM.

Calm and serene location with a very good food menu and excellent service.
Special word of appreciation for Mr. SRIJIT from the Ayurveda Center who gave me the best massage of my life. Highly Recommended !
Also Mr. SHINE the restraunt manager was very helpful and generous. I learnt a lot from him about the Ayurveda treatment and food options at the hotel. Will try on my next visit.

Breakfast was Good and the Hotel staff very courteous.
The Hotel has only one restaurant, which was booked by a single party for lunch. They were not able to provide a table for me as the single restaurant was full.
The name of the Hotel is Gateway Hotel Beach Road however it is 2 km away from the beach and also located on PT Usha road, so the name is misleading visitors. I had expected the Hotel to be closer to the beach due to its name, but it wasn't the case.
