Staff was very friendly and everything super clean. Breakfast was nice too.

The photos don’t convey the vibe of the rooms very well. Our room wasn’t very practically set up (you almost hit your head on the wardrobe when you open the door to the room…), it also wasn’t very cosy (tiled floor, outdated designs, color schemes and lighting - all convey more of a 90s hospital.)

The proximity to the sights of Amboise and the price were very good. Staff were helpful and polite and the room appeared to be very clean. The availability of private parking was very convenient, but there was no security as the gate was 'broken'.

Room was quite warm and there did not appear to be any air conditioning. Unfortunately, the street traffic was too noisy to leave the window open.

The location was very central which was great. Didn't have the breakfast but would consider it next time.

Staff during the booking and on arrival were very good. The staff, on booking out, could have been more helpful. I had to insist to have fresh milk in my coffee rather than powdered milk that I was told to have. Staff member eventually put fresh/real milk in my coffee.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Located in the heart of Amboise. 2-5 minute walk to everything. Breakfast was sufficient and there was a variety. Coffee machine was lovely. A/C in rooms wonderful. Older hotel as expected. Lovely hotel.

Beds were sufficient. Bathroom could use update, but sufficient.

Room is really very small and bathroom tiny. I had expected a Premier Inn sized room and though this was comfortable (air con) and very clean it was pokey.

Nicely furnished room in a hotel with lots of relaxing public spaces.

Hotel closes at 10pm. We were delayed at Dover and we’re afraid we wouldn’t make it in time. Receptionist kindly agreed to stay until 10:15.

We had paid in advance but on arrival the first thing the receptionist said was that we owed 10 euros for ‘animal tax’ - our small dog (which we had said we would bring on booking) - and 3.5 euros state hotel tax. Strange to insist on payment immediately, after a long drive, rather than in the morning, and odd that these sums were not included in the pre-payment. The wi-fi signaled it was working but didn’t work at all, evening or morning, even after the morning receptionist - the hotel wi-fi ‘professional’ - tried everything she knew. The bathroom was as tiny as a bathroom can be.

It was in a great location, very central in Amboise. The staff were very friendly and helpful in finding free parking nearby.

The room was up a bunch of flights of stairs. It was fine for us to get to it but a bit of a struggle with our luggage and would be hard for folks who struggle to get around at all.

Well situated near the main pedestrian section. Clean hotel. Friendly front desk. A good breakfast room and good choices. The lobby has a couple of sitting areas with a bar.

Having to climb about 40 stairs to get the room. If you have mobility issues request a first-floor room. Bathroom (23) is encumbered by wood support beams of the building.

It was clean and tidy

We paid the extra money to get a comfortable room however the room was about 15 m², extremely small. To go from one side of the bed to the other there was a "walkway" of about 0.3m...
