The hotel was super, great location, great lay out. Staff (especially on reception) showed how customer service should be. I’d like to give a shout out to one member of staff in reception in particular, however I am sorry but didn’t catch his name fully, but if I said it was something like Kumen I know the hotel will know who I mean. He is a credited to the hotel. A number of pools and areas to sit in - sun beds very comfortable. We got really lucky and got an upgrade to a beautiful suite 🥰. Thank you. Very relaxing place and highly recommended.

Bei dem tollen Ambiente hätten wir mehr von dem Restaurants am Abend erwartet. Die Preise waren noch in Ordnung, für ein solches Hotel hätten wir aber besseres Essen erwartet.

Schönes Zimmer mit tollem Meerblick (Preferred Club). Das Frühstück ist klasse, der Kategorie entsprechend. Für Preferred-Gäste gibt es ein separates Frühstück-Restaurant, hier sind auch a la carte Gerichte (Eierspeisen, Lachstoast etc.) bestellbar. Man hat die Möglichkeit im Freien das Frühstück einzunehmen (ca. 10 Tische im Außenbereich). Liegen am Pool waren zu unserer Reisezeit im Preferred-Bereich immer ausreichend vorhanden. Die ruhige Lage direkt am Meer fanden wir super - ein Mietwagen ist allerdings empfehlenswert. Der kleine Hafen Puerto Calero mit einigen Boutiquen und Restaurants ist in ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Die beiden Pool-Restaurants (Normaler- & Preferred-Bereich) für ein Lunch haben überhaupt nicht unseren Erwartungen erfüllt - relativ teuer und schlechte Qualität. Wenn ich für ein Tunfisch-Sandwich 15 Euro auf der Karte aufrufe, und mir zwei Scheiben Toast mit ein wenig Thunfisch dazwischen und vielleicht 10 Pommes (kalt) serviert wird, Ketchup & Mayonnaise separat in Plastiktütchen dazugestellt, dann ist das nicht der Hotelkategorie entsprechend. Dies war u.a. ein Grund, keine weiteren Restaurants des Hotels zu besuchen und auszuprobieren. Im Service-Bereich ist ebenfalls noch viel Luft nach oben. Auch wenn die Mitarbeiter sehr bemüht und immer freundlich sind, viele Dinge haben allerdings einfach nicht funktioniert, sei es das tägliche Auffüllen der Minibar oder der Turn-Down-Service (warum bereits um 16:30 Uhr?), Zimmerserservice teilweise nach 14 Uhr. Positiv: Als Entschädigung hat das Hotel uns zum Dinner eingeladen - hier hat die Qualität gepasst. Vielen Dank. Die Pools sind zwar beheizt, für uns zur Winterzeit auf Lanzarote dennoch zu kühl. Aus diesem Grund waren auch nicht viele Schwimmer im Wasser unterwegs.

Die Zimmer sind ok und sauber. In der Nacht war es ruhig und man konnte gut schlafen.

Anlage ust in die Jahre gekommen. 90% waren Gäste aus Grossbritanien entsprechend das Niveau. Qualität Brot beim Morgenbuffet unterirdisch und die Auswahl an Käse, Früchten und Fleisch entspricht nicht 5 Sternen. Lasagne im italienischen Restaurant katastrophal da im inneren noch kalt. Zu empfehlen ist das Grill Restaurant wo wir sehr fein gegessen haben.

It is a massive property with different activities like pools, sports, spa, live music etc available. Dinner spread and options were good. Good views.

Staff not very competent. Check in process very prolonged. Passports had to be scanned multiple times. Worst was - gave a couple a twin beds despite requesting a double bed. Just changed the sheet to look like a double bed instead of changing beds/mattresses! Breakfast items were not that varied. Quite expensive for the facilities provided.

Pas de pantoufles dans les chambres, les réceptionnistes sont nonchalants nous avons commandé un taxi à plusieurs reprises il y a toujours eu des problèmes

Buffet food was basic and not much variety compared to other 4* and 5* hotels in Lanzarote.

It was very clean and comfortable. Didn’t feel real ! Loved it

It’s better in person , so clean and reception staff are amazing. The restaurant inside staff was lovely but the restaurant outside they was not that nice. They debility ignore me and served three other people who came after me. It’s only until I said something that’s when they served me. I don’t like using the race card but I was the only black person at the restaurant at the time. That’s only complaint I have but I didn’t let it ruin my experience.

The facilities were wonderful, clean and modern. The massage we had at the Spa was amazing. The 'Preferred facilities' were stocked and well kept too.

The food wasn't as high a standard as expected. Premium drinks were still not included in our 'Preferred Package" which was not expected to be the case, and not made very clear and the hotel was understaffed which meant we had poor service at the Preferred Pool Longe.

No pay as you go option, everything charged to the room was the only thing that was not optimal

It’s was nice and we did enjoyed our time while we were there. Alex form the catering department who was a waitress I believe has been provided an excellent customer service and I will remember for him as he made us feel “special” on our holiday. huge thanks once again for him . Cleaning department Well Done!- I am super fussy about cleaning and hygiene, but I have to say we been looked after very well by the team and thank you so much for them. FOH Team was perfectly professional and we did enjoyed our chat with them.

The food was a bit disappointing as I was expected a bit more and better to be honest compared to we paid for 5 star service compared improvements can be made on this especially in The World Coffee Restaurant.

I liked the rooms and the staff

Thé restaurants are horrible, music and vibe at the pool is non-existent. PS: I am not asking for parties, just some chill music so I feel I am on vacation

My stay at Secrets lanzarote resort and spa was very good. The food was lovely, lots to choose from. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was very clean. I would recommend and will definitely come back again.

The Spa was the star of the visit. The main pool is amazing with about 10 different areas with different jets to relax and invigorate the skin. 2 Jacuzzis. Sauna, steam room and different types of showers. The room was the standard ocean view room but very large with large shower room, fridge, safe and balcony overlooking the sea. Good storage facilities for your clothes. The world cafe buffet restaurant was always comparatively quiet with good quality and variety of food. Several sockets, including next to the beds, included usb charging ports.

Despite advertising a Piano bar, the bar is called Piano bar but there is no pianist or even recorded piano music! This was one of the reasons we choose this hotel as we like to sit in a Piano bar whilst having our pre dinner or post dinner drink. Instead this was the entertainment bar at 9.30 with different types of music. Very disappointing by this. Despite being advertised as a romantic get away, there were 2 queen size beds in the room pushed together but with 2 separate duvets and sheets. Not ideal for a romantic break. Some areas of the hotel need to be freshened up. We noticed several areas near the pool, for example, that had no paint on the walls. Not what you would expect from a true 5 star hotel. The location is beautiful but difficult to get to if not in a vehicle. There are no paths between the hotel and other areas of the town, for example. We travelled by bus and it was a very difficult job to find a walking route from the bus stop to the hotel which is probably only 400 metres apart but the route by Google Maps was several kilometres. We eventually found a set of steps by the shops in the Marina which lead to the sea front path. Although this takes you to the pool area of the hotel, not ideal for getting to reception when checking in or out! There are no signs to direct you to the Marina or the bus stops or information in the hotel on this.

The facilities of the hotel were perfect : the pools, the spa, the emplacement, the decorations, the access to the beach, the reception and many other things

The only thing concerns the rooms that are not all equivalent. Our first night was not good, coakroches in the room, a lot of noise, air-conditionning broken We were able to change rooms and the next one was perfect !

Premium Club pool was brilliant. Staff were excellent. Drinks were great we were all inclusive so everything was paid for before we went out.

If you weren't all inclusive prices would be very dear. The price for things is over inflated because of people being all inclusive. But if you are all inclusive unlimited luxury everything is free. Entertainment finishes very early for adults only. 10.30 and everyone just goes to bed. They have a later bar but no live music. Food was a good standard but not 5* Ireland standard.
