such a bright open space and very quiet!

I loved everything!!!

The location was excellent and an easy walk or drive down to Puerto Calero. There was a small supermarket and good variety of eating and drinking places, and all very civilised. If you are looking for clubs and nightlife then this is not the place for you. The port is small, picturesque and well maintained and there is a water bus for visits to the large resort of Puerto Carmen, 25 mins away. The apartment has shared use of a communal swimming pool (make sure you ask where the key card is kept to gain entry to the pool as it is gated) and we seemed to be the only ones using it, probably because it was still quite cold, but very pleasant. The area is quite and there was no noise at night. This may be different in high season. The apartment had everything we needed (except a chopping board!) The bed was comfortable and the whole place bright and airy. Does not have air con but fans, which were fine for us in March. It is an ideal base for exploring the island, which is what we did.

The wifi seemed to "come and go" a bit and there was not always a good signal. The kitchen lacked a chopping board which was annoying but otherwise was well equipped. Some basic instructions would have been good re. pool access/use
