Wenn man reinkommt riecht es modrig, an der Decke und im Bad ist Schimmel, die Farbe platzt ab, die Einrichtung ist sehr altbacken, es ist sehr laut wegen der Straße, die Dusche, das Klo und der Wasserhahn tropfen, es lag eine dicke Staubschicht unter dem Bett und das Frühstück war das schlechteste, was ich je in einem Hotel je hatte. Es war die schlechteste Unterkunft, die wir hier in CR hatten.

It was a great location close to the airport my flight was cancelled so took 10 mins to get here . I was able to check in early & the room was peaceful
The kitchen was not olé at all when I was there no water coffee or snacks available I had to walk 10 minutes to the local shop , it was very dated

No me gustó nada, piscina sucia, no había parqueo y el trato de la persona que me recibió terrible.
No me gustó nada. Un "hotel sin parqueo" terrible, la piscina sucia y el trato de la persona que me recibió fatal, una persona que no me conoce y empieza a burlarse de mi persona, y en el momento que llegue estuve esperando alrededor de 20 mi para q saliera atenderme.
En otras palabras plata y tiempo perdido.
Deberían poner en el anuncio que NO HAY PARQUEO...
Y por último el anuncio decía que era una suit y resultó siendo una habitación normal, donde la dueña incluso me dijo q me tenía una habitación más grande pero hubo una reservacion de una pareja con un niño y por eso me cambió la habitación.

Nice location, close to the airport, though you have to have a good gps to find it.Friendly staff, room fair, breakfast quite ok. We did not use the pool cause it wasn't warm enough.
There was a pump or something in front of our room that kept 2 of us up the whole night. Rooms are ok but could use refershment, same goes for bathroom. All in all a fair stay but overpriced for what they offer.

We used this place as a stopover close to the airport. It provided for all or our needs: safe, comfortable, and a great place to stay for the night. Owners were extremely friendly and accommodating.
The place can be a little difficult to find, but we had WAZE which made it rather easy. Girl who made and served breakfast needs a little more experience but it the end we were all satisfied.

I loved the place, nice swimming pool, breakfast in the morning served outdoors, refrigerator to store drinks and food, nice room, very quiet, safe area. A short walk to some nice restaurants, bars, cafes, food shopping. Nice lake down the block filled with Ducks. 10 min ride to the SJO airport - I really enjoyed my stay

Nice basic accommodation for people looking to stay close to the airport. It's owned by a local couple who are very friendly. The breakfast is delicious.
The bathroom had a bit of mold everywhere.

Wonderful place and wonderful and helpful staff. It's a great place to touch base from the airport before heading elsewhere in the country. It's clean, comfortable and the gardens are beautiful. I'm vegan and even though the staff didn't originally know much about that, they were able to accommodate me and provide a good breakfast. So happy to stay, thank you Anna Maria!

Beautiful garden /pool terrace area, perfect for relaxing after a long journey. Very convenient location for arriving into San Jose Airport. Also very close to bus stop for onward travel. Comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and most of all the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Ana is friendly, interesting and very helpful!

I had a 1 night layover in San Jose and this hotel was absolutely perfect. They organised a pick up from the airport, i had a great sleep, there was a beautiful breakfast included and i went for a swim in the pool in the morning. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay :)

The rooms were old and moldy, they moved me twice and was still sick throwing up due to the smell. The bed sheets had stains. The shower was broken and pool was disgustingly unswimmable. The management couple were quite rude when shared my health situation and only cared for their own money because their business or customer service is not quality.

Hotel is in great location near San Jose airport. However you cannot hear noise from planes too much. Room is very big with 2 double beds and one single bed. Everything was clean, there is possibility to sit on outside terrace and also enjoy some time in pool. In price you get typical local breakfast. Owners were very helpful and helped us to resolve one issue. Even tough our stay was for 1 night, we enjoyed it.

There was no running water. Had to ask the owner for help multiple times (an elderly man who didn't slow his Spanish at all despite clearly hearing that my Spanish speaking abilities were mediocre at best). He tried to put our entire party of 6 in 1 room despite us booking 2 rooms, then came later to apologize. Bathroom was not prepared with hand soap. Water pressure in shower was literally a trickle, when it worked at all.

Breakfast was basic, fruit salad, coffee, eggs, toast, and sausage. Room was large and adequate. The pool was a little cold, but all pools in San Jose are cold.
I really like this hotel. I don't have anything really that I didn't like. The power was out when we arrived, but that had nothing to do with the hotel, and the hotelier was happy to provide a lantern for our group.

Nothing. When I made my reservation on Booking.com, this hotel had a 'pay-when-you-stay' option. Despite that, the hotel charged my credit card two days before my arrival. This is the first time in my experience a hotel has ever conflicted with what is advertised on Booking.com. Of course, when I tried to cancel the reservation due to the inconsistency, I was told it was non-refundable. Don't stay here. You can't depend on what is posted on Booking as far as when you will be charged, which makes me wonder what else is inconsistent.
Such a poor experience with customer service that I didn't even spend the night here. The description when you make your reservation does not match this hotel's policies. It's the first time I've ever had that experience on Booking.com. When I reached out to management about it, I was just told, "those are our policies" even though I have screenshots of the different claims on Booking.com.
