Location and comfort were excellent.very easy to park.

It is in a very good location to visit Monfragüe. The dinner was better than I expected. It is also very quiet so we had a relaxing sleep. Room had a nice high ceiling, relatively spacious with a comfortable bed (you could even swap your pillow from a pillow menu - we didn't attempt it). You can take a small stroll to the outside grounds which are peaceful. Also, parking is super easy, right in front of the hotel.

The breakfast could have been of a higher standard (especially since the dinner was of much better quality. The swimming pool was closed (until the summer) - not crucial - but given the pictures in their site you get a feeling you would be able to use it in sunny May. We might have got them at a bad day but there were a number of other things that went wrong: 1. The elevator was broken (they brought someone over the next day who was trying to fix it) but even though we made it clear that our luggage is heavy we received no help. 2. There was no WiFi in our room as apparently they are upgrading it to be faster but the "fast WiFi" in reception was actually relatively slow. 3. The hot water was broken and it took half a day to be restored.

Location is absolutely stunning and so peaceful. Our room had views over the mountains and we watched the wildlife. The outside bar area is nice and parking is free and there’s plenty. Restaurant food was very nice and good value for money.

Air con didn’t work the room was very hot. Not many staff members it’s hard to get a drink. Beds were not comfortable.

Excellent location if you visit Monfrague NP. Nice building in itself and with ample space. I was there really off-season but still possible to have dinner and refreshments. Good value for money.

The food at the hotel was innovative and tasty. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Supper was delicious. Our room was comfy and the aircon worked well. We loved the pool. The staff are always very friendly and helpful.

The wifi did not work at all in our room - there is one terminal in the reception area which seemed to be the way to connect. At lunchtime there was little on offer other than a full meal in the dining room. Previously it was possible to have a burger and chips or salad at the bar. The staff are deployed in multiple roles. This meant that it was difficult to get bar service as the staff would be serving in the dining room.

We were visiting Monfragüe National Park so the location was perfect. pleasant, helpful staff, excellent food reasonably priced.

Great hotel with really lovely staff who were always cheerful and helpful. Our room was only a standard one but was spacious and very comfortable. Great pool and the food was really exceptional. A different menu each evening and everything was very fresh and delicious. I really recommend this hotel

A small thing but breakfast did not start until eight and it gets very hot later in the day for hiking. Maybe they could offer a basic cold breakfast from seven. Just bread, ham, cheese etc left in a fridge so the staff don’t have to get there earlier.

Hotel was 1 mile outside Torrejón de Rubio - too far to walk to at 28 C heat. Place was deserted with skeleton staff. White wine was warm and food v average. Decor a bir shabby.

The location is wonderfull, de rooms are somewhat dated but ok.

The place is terribly understaffed, personnel does its best but is mostly not up tothe job. Could not get a cold white wine at the bar, diner only at ten o clock because of groups. Wifi not in rooms.

The hotel is well located for exploring Monfrague NP. We like the distinct design of the building. The rooms are comfy and our bed was huge. We were on half board. Our evening meals were interesting and tasty. Breakfast is plentiful and varied. The staff were, as always, very attentive and welcoming.

The only negatives for us are linked to breakfast. Whilst the breakfast is good - fresh fruit, juice, pastries, cheeses and cold meats, a variety of breads plus scrambled eggs, bacon, tortilla, chorizo, migas etc The coffee comes from a machine and it lets the side down. Also, a microwave would be handy for those who really like their food hot, not warmish.

All the staff very friendly and always ready to help. We stayed in a superior doubled room, very spacious and with huge windows. The common areas are also very spacious and pleasant. A wonderful place to rest. A beautiful building, large but very well integrated in the landscape. We also liked the decoration very much.

Great location close to beautiful hiking spots. Staff was very attentive and kind. The grounds are very nice, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We stayed in a two story room which was great. The bed that pulls down from the wall could have been better quality.
