L’absence de douche dans la partie Fitness/Sauna

Nous avons passé un super séjour. L’ensemble du personnel est extrêmement prévenant et l’emplacement est top (moins de 10 minutes à pied de la gare et du port) à proximité immédiate de nombreux commerces et restaurant dans une rue piétonne. Le roof top est particulièrement agréable pour surplomber la ville et se baigner.

Plus qu’une remarque négative, une suggestion. Il serait très agréable de pouvoir privatiser le roof top sur certains créneaux horaires pendant une durée limitée.

L’hôtel est très bien situé dans le centre de Toulon dans une rue piétonne. La personne à l’accueil en journée est très souriante et serviable. La chambre est bien équipée. J’ai pu profiter de nuits au calme sur une bonne literie.

Le petit-déjeuner n’est pas au niveau du prix demandé. Je suis habitué à trouver plus de variété et de qualité à ce prix dans les établissements du même niveau.

La propreté, l’accueil et le petit-déjeuner sont en tous points de très bon niveau. La situation dans la ville se révèle intéressante, nous avons apprécié la place de l'Equerre à deux pas.

Great location with a beautiful roof terrace and pool that then becomes a cool rooftop bar in the evening. Friendly staff and a comfortable room.

Staff wasn’t too helpful. It was hard to schlep suitcase up the stairs. The fact that they charge c40 euros for deposit against a beach towel needed on their own rooftop is not great. Didn’t like all the threats of extra huge fines in case of missing towels, (plastic) glasses and (logoed) coasters (!) please treat guests as adults. As there is a rooftop pool, there should be a dressing gown.

Lovely king sized bed, wonderful pool and later bar

I wanted to use the gym and was disappointed to be told it was €15 to use and the door was locked so I didn’t even get to look at the gym. Any hotel I’ve stayed in previously the gym facilities were included in my stay.

Room excellent -Hotel ideally placed for visiting port and most parts of old town-Breakfast excellent -All staff were helpful and very pleasant I would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Toulon

The rooftop pool was an amazing place to relax, swim and sun bath. The room was nice, good breakfast and very kind reception staff.

The only downside was a kind of plastic bed coverage under the bed sheets that was a bit uncomfortable while sleeping. Bed and sleep good otherwise (without it).

the staff was amazingly nice and so helpful ! the hotel is very well located and has pretty cool decorations ! The rooms had a nice space !

The walls are really really thin. We could hear everything (like someone yawning) from the room around us. if you are a light sleeper it can be a bit annoying.

We would recommend the Grand Hôtel Dauphiné in Toulon and will probably stay there again when we next visit the city. It is very centrally located in the old town and close to the train and bus station and the port. It is a small, friendly and welcoming hotel. A real bonus is the small pool on the roof terrace, which is above the 5th floor, with great views over Toulon and towards the port. Breakfast, which is comprehensive and very nice, is served on the top/5th floor. There is a narrow terrace outside the breakfast room so there is the option, subject to numbers, of sitting at a bar/table and having your coffee overlooking the rooftops of Toulon.

Our room, No. 410, had a great, king-sized bed but the room was small which made it difficult to work around our suitcases. However, in fairness to the hotel, we made a mistake in the booking, so they were expecting one person and not two.

The hotel was as described, Location was perfect for the trains and buses. The staff were exceptional. The rooftop pool was just nice to pop in and cool down. I definitely would stay here again.
