Breakfast was very good, location ideal.

I rarely manage a good night's rest when staying away but my night at the Belmont was exceptional. Room was clean on arrival and felt warm and comforting, room service was prompt and delicious, breakfast was fantastic and very festive with a gorgeous Christmas tree all lit up. Service from staff impeccable throughout, everyone was super friendly and accommodating.

Breakfast was disappointing. I ordered off separate menu, it was incorrect order twice and waitress quite stroppy and expected me to take it anyway although I am vegetarian and it was ham. Also, cooked breakfast for my daughters, there was only hash brown and beans left and did not get offer of waiting as their turn at the buffet had passed. Not what I expect for the cost. I understand the hotel was busy but I would expect bread/croissants to be readily available.

Room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. As we were travelling as a family it was very good to be accommodated close to each other.

Could not find any faults.

Loved it. Staff very helpful (on the day dealt with an awkward customer very well) . It was only an overnight stay for me, but a hotel in a City with a car park is essential 👌

The location was well-suited for our purposes (visiting the local art museum), with numerous dining options at the corner. It would be a bit of a walk to the more historic part of town, however.

Very cramped elevator at the opposite end of the hotel from our room.

Nice comfortable bed, very clean, good choice for breakfast. Reasonable price close to all of the towns amenities and close to the Racecourse. Staff friendly and we had no problems checking in after midnight.

The room was too hot and we were unable to open the window more than a couple of inches

The location was excellent as it was not too near the centre of Leicester but close enough. Checking in was very quick and breakfast was excellent. The room was also very clean and tidy, the right size and in a quiet location. Staff were also extremely friendly. We couldn't fault it really. We would definitely stay again in the future.

Going home - could have stayed another night.

Very convenient location, good food and very pleasant helpful staff. Hotel is old building that has been refurbished- nice big rooms and bathrooms. Walking distance to Train station, city centre and lots of good restaurants nearby.

Stairs up to room level corridor- not good for solo traveller with a big suitcase!

We always stay at the Belmont when visiting Leicester. Its the perfect location, enough out of the centre to be quieter and yet a short walk down New Walk to the town. The staff are lovely and always friendly. Always space to park when we visit. Our room this time was huge with a sofa and plenty of storage space. We will undoubtedly be back again soon.

My only issue was it was a warm weekend and the heating in our room was on full. With it being a top floor room this meant it was hot and I could only open two of the three windows. The windows only open a short way.

Good breakfast, great sized room. Exit straight onto The Walk, which goes straight into the city center. Lots of parking spaces. Friendly staff at the reception desk.

I have stayed here before, so I recommended it to colleagues and they booked to stayed here at the same time as myself. While I was there and we met up in the bar before we headed out to meet other work colleges that live in the area. it was well placed and central to where we all met. the staff are excellent and the rooms are spotless. the parking is a bit tight but manageable. I will stay here again.

3 o'clock check in was a little late for me but I suppose if you want cleanliness you have to be patient. the room I had was on the top floor. There is a lift but the passage ways can be a little confusing from the lift to your room.

Staff lovely and accommodating. Room clean and all amenities in place. Nice stay and close to centre.

Nothing we didn't like, it was very quiet but seems due to time of year.

The hotel needs an upgrade

The staff were helpful and friendly and the location was good being only a 10 minute walk from town centre.

Our room, 117 was very near to the kitchen extractor fan which is very noisy, a situation complicated by the room being very hot. With the window open it was rather like a plane on take off with its engines at full throttle. I asked the lady on reception about it and she said it would go off at about 9.0pm which it did. That was good but it came back on at 6.30am which was not so good. So, if you like an early night or a lie in I would avoid 117!!

Hard to break it down. We just loved the environment - the bar, restaurant and our room.

It would be better if the music could change. It always seems to be the same and plays over and over again. It is also often too loud.
