The room was cozy and the bed was very comfy. Nice common room to have a cup of tea in the afternoon. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and the breakfast is the best in the city. The desk in the room was great to get a bit of work done.

The proximity to the road I did not enjoy. I could hear every car on the road in the middle of the night.

The breakfast was the best we had in UK. The only thing missing was some fresh vegetables. The hotel is walking distance to the city centre and to the park.

The bathroom door keep opening when it was not locked from inside :) otherwise all was great.

Great location five minute walk from over night parking and ten minute walk into the centre of Bath. The room and bathroom very clean, very comfy bed with enough storage. Wonderful breakfast plenty of choices and the staff so nice and helpful. The whole place is perfect for a nice relaxing stay, would stay again next time in the city.

Staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms needed maintenance with doors that wouldnt close or latch shut. Furniture doesnt look antique just out dated and worn. Also when ordering breakfast my wife ordered Eggs Benedict but got Eggs Florentine and I ordered fried eggs and got served scrambled eggs.

One of the reasons we booked Brooks was that it had parking available. The situation had changed, which we understand can happen, but we were not notified and so had to scamper at the last minute to find alternatives. The car park close by was an exorbitant £17 per night and so we eventually ended up at a park and ride for £8 of bus rides!

The best part was having such a lovely common living room, since our room was fine but not very spacious.

The hotel was very lovely and convenient to the location, nearby everything and friendly helpful staff.

The woman on reception was very friendly. The property is a 10/15 walk into central Bath, so well located. It is nice and quiet. The shower was powerful and lots of hot water. Breakfast was ok, not top quality ingredients but they were well cooked.

We have rated this lower as we had a very disappointing situation with parking. We booked this property as it advertised free parking. As our stay got closer, we were emailed to say this had changed and the nearest parking was £17 for 24hrs. The hotel wasn’t prepared to honour our booking with the free parking or offer any alternative. The listing on booking.com still states free parking, so please do be aware. The beds in our room (No7) needed new mattresses and duvets, as they were both worn thin and were lumpy. The room is also at the very top of the hotel with only access via three flights of stairs, so best check if you have access issues.

Breakfast very good. Room not quite warm enough. Two small radiators in a large room set under the windows which took most of the heat. Very clean. Single bed frame uncomfortable. King bed very comfortable. Drinks provided were good. Liked having hot chocolate and biscuits. Good location near the Crescent. Parking expensive and quite a way from the house. Receptionist struggled to give accurate directions.
