Room was dusty and dirty no toilet brush only realised how much dust came off the bedding when we got back at 1am hlf drunk complaining and moving room at that time wasn't appealing so we grimmed it strong smell of weed and a generator right outside our window woke us up at 4am ok but would not return at then prices you expect a little more

Breakfast was lovely, fresh and good choices. Staff on arrival and departure, were friendly and helpful.

Arrived late and had dinner in the bar area, whilst the food was fine the menu was confusing with lots of choices spread over several flip sheets. Almost too much choice!

Very nice newly built/refurbished room. Very comfortable and clean. Bed was extremely nice, perfect size and firmness.

A little stingy on the complementary items like toothpaste, toothbrush and other toiletries that would usually be standard for this sort of price range and have been available here in the past.

The location for us was amazing , the property so clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing and so helpful .

Breakfast was lovely, the Sausages were dry. The bedroom was adequate . The Sofa bed helped. The grounds are lovely and I assume that it would be lovelier in the summer.

However I have concerns regarding toilet design with the Toilet directly opposite the entrance into the room. Also the shower stall water drainage is faulty their is no proper seal to prevent water falling out of the stall.

Location was OK, but difficult to get off the roundabout if you get in the wrong lane. Breakfast was rather expensive but good

I paid for an upgraded room which was in the "new" wing of the hotel. The hotel is easy to reach off the motorway, with its own decent sized car park it offers a few options to dump the car and avoid all the hassle of dicing with death in the awful city centre traffic or paying through the nose for city centre parking. I stay at this hotel a couple of times a year (one, perhaps two nights while visiting friends and family in the area) so wouldn't consider myself a regular customer but I hadn't realised until I arrived that I was looking forward to seeing three members of staff who had made previous stays more comfortable. I was pleased to see Precious at breakfast (have a well deserved holiday Precious!) but didn't bump into Lisa or Kris - maybe next time(?)

The room was very nice but the bathroom was quite small, in fact it took a little thought working out how to get into the bathroom and close the door without causing myself harm! that said, the room and bathroom were very clean and adequate for a stay of a night or two

The lights didn’t work properly you had to just go around pressing them to try and get them on and half the time it took so long we gave up trying. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable the mattress was extremely thin and u could feel every metal bar.

Nice comfortable and scrupulously clean hotel. Close to the tram and bus and road routes into Nottingham and north of Nottingham.

Next to the rather noisy ring road although the rooms are well sound insulated.

The prices of drinks at the bar were very high (over £10 for a beer and a coke) and there was someone smoking something more than just a cigarette immediately outside reception but there’s not a huge amount that the hotel can do about that.

Reception staff were friendly, the warm cookie is always a nice touch, the text message once in room to check if everything was fine with the room.

Cleanliness. Noise from other guests. No main light in room, lamps only. Rooms now worn, other than pretty reception aesthetics it doesn’t feel as much like a 4 star anymore. Having stayed at this hotel a couple of times a few years ago, it was disappointing to see that it has gone downhill. There was a dirty towel in the bathroom and hair on the bedding and another towel so they all had to be replaced along with the bathroom being quite dusty. There is no main light in the room so in the evening you can barely see and can’t get ready in there, only in the bathroom. The rooms are worn now and in need of a refresh. Not the fault of the hotel in this case but we had people on our floor shouting and swearing/ arguing. For the price, this visit for me isn’t worth it and I would like choose another hotel next time. I actually specifically paid more here as I had been before and liked it.

Lovely hotel spacious. Nice location for the tram into Nottingham city centre. Good food and lovely staff.

Bed was very comfortable

The desk surprised me by taking a £25 advance against any future spend. Equally, there was no advance warning about the easiest way to shift heavy luggage to the room, the most convenient outside door was locked so we moved the car to a a better position. For a flash hotel there were too many little things that didn't work, the light switch for the bathroom was intermittent, neither of the plugs, sink or bath were adjusted right, and the bathroom fan did not work.
