Housekeeping done after 3:30pm every day. The parking validation system is cumbersome in the extreme. It should be streamlined and made user friendly.

Friendly and upbeat reception and restaurant staff, making sure you feel welcome and well taken care of.

I wished for an even higher floor (instead of 12th) but it wasn't available - or so reception said. The unannounced visit to the bed by a cockroach was a surprise, I guess the 12th was well in reach for the creature. No harm done (to me, the insect didn't survive). The internet wasn't stable and the spacious bathroom looks kind of tired and aged.

Great location within walking distance to the waterfront.

Room service was slow and I need to follow up with them. Staff were nice and helpful when you approached them but they did not seem interested in approaching you. I also had tried to organise airport transfer prior to arrival but never received a response.

Pool, breakfast. We could check in in the morning as our room was already ready. Very nice staff, the concierge was opening the doors and helping with the luggage.

Room could have been cleaner. The bathroom door was broken. At the pool, there were not enough towels and they were not replenished quickly enough. There was a bar at the pool but no one was walking around and taking orders for drinks. You have to walk uphill from the waterfront to get to the hotel.

The hotel staff are wonderful. So polite and friendly, eager to help and provide information. A big room, generally in good condition, fab view over Kuching and perfect location for us close to shops, family and friends. Lovely to see the hotel supporting the Penan Women Project with a popular display near the hotel entrance. They were happy to make hot chocolate the way we like it - with milk, not too frothy!

The room was a bit limited in drawer space, the drawers being well passed their best and should be be replaced - the bath tap was also loose. Around the hotel, a couple of places where paintwork was flaking (see swimming pool photo) and carpet could have done with being relaid. So, a few smaller details that need a little attention.

only 1 door to the walk-in wardrobe and bathroom. So cannot access the wardrobe when colleague is in the bathroom.

Have to pay for the parking. No complimentary parking fee. Eventhough got flat rate, it will best given complimentary free parking instead.

Location and cleanliness

The maintenance could be better e.g., the shower was not working properly. It couldn't switch properly between the shower head and the hand shower and poor showerhead water spray.

location is in the center of restaurant and near by the river hotel is on the peak so you can see view is great to see around city room is old style but it very large con comfortable

I see a cockroach on bread at the bread bar in breakfast line that cause me didn't touch any food from this hotel anymore
