Friendly staff and the breakfast was good room alot smaller than I was expecting but clean and tidy, bed was comfy.

Wedding celebration going on at the same time as our stay, congratulations to the happy couple. As you can expect the party was noisy and our room was right in front of the celebrations. It would have been nice to be forewarned at time of booking that a party was on that weekend.

Very friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Lovely setting and quiet. Good breakfast.

Very small room and flat pillows. There seemed to be a lack of care for the place - drab room with no pictures, dripping taps, bathroom door didn't close, inconvenient electrical sockets so kettle had to be boiled on the floor. Biscuits not replaced for our second night. No fruit salad at breakfast.

Amazing place, everything was great. Comfortable rooms, tasty food, very friendly staff and beautiful views.

We liked everything about it, staff were friendly and made us welcome rooms were clean and comfortable and plenty on the menu to choose from and enjoyed both breakfast and evening meal.

Only one negative unfortunately, the shower in our room was little more than a dribble, no pressure, shower head needed a good clean out as wasn't spraying properly. Didn't ruin our trip but others may have been annoyed by this

Lovely oldie worldie b&b, very quirky, very welcoming staff and located perfectly for walking with the dog.

The bed felt very comfortable initially, when in the Centre of the bed. Either side of the Centre it felt as if the bed was tilted and as a result we both had a poor nights sleep.

It is near to some of my favourite parts of The Lakes. The menu has been simplified from the previous restaurant menu to a great choice of good quality pub grub, which is affordable and what I look for. The rooms are equipped with the things I want and need, without being excessive in cost. I love staying here.

There isn't anything for me to write here. This is exactly the place I look for, if I want some home comforts, when I go hiking.

Superb location, fantastic friendly staff, stunning food & this time we took our dog which we were worried about. He was welcomed & given sausage at breakfast & hock ham at dinner time. Fantastic
