Quiet, comfy, great breakfast. 4 very fast and efficient lifts.

Needed more loo rolls. Only 1 bath robe in room initially. Pizza Oven in restaraunt was unserviceable throughout stay. This must get fixed asap.

The room looked outdated , needs to be revamped . Air conditioner didn’t work and the room was warm . For the price of the room it was very poor .

Taking g close on an hour to find the booking. We wanted to change our arrival date to a day earlier but they said they couldn't find my booking. I gave them the booking.com reference, and they still couldn't find it. I said I was going to cancel the reservation as they couldn't fund it, but then they went on about the cancellation fee. Surely, such an upmarket hotel has a decent PMS system that they could have found it. After 2 phone calls and being on hold for an extended period they finally found d the reservation. Apparently, they don't use the booking.com reference number. Go figure. TBH not worth the money paid. Couldn't change dates as full, fair enough. Settled for original dates.

I enjoyed my stay as the staff were exceptionally friendly and the premises were next to none. Overall there was nothing I didn't like about my stay.

Maybe carpets on upper floors could be updated as looking tired but still clean.

Excellent location for the city and the two shows I attended. Room was stylish and clean.

The pillows were very flat and floppy. I would have preferred something puffier and firmer. There was no toilet brush provided.

An extremely comfortable hotel which was in an excellent location. We were able to walk into the city and there were many restaurants and cafes we could walk to.

Beautiful Hotel. Staff were very professional and always happy to help. Bed was amazingly comfortable.

No where to hang clothes in the bathroom. Towels etc were all hung on bars around the toilet. Even though I had the temp on cool, it was still very hot and stuffy.

Excellent location, with train and tram right at the door. Very comfortable bed, huge bathroom.

This is not a 5 star property. The hotel is old and in need of a refurbishment. Carpets in the general areas to rooms (especially on our floor) were dirty and clearly old. I did pay extra for a river view room, however only got a partial view (on the side)- certainly not the one shown when booking. As the building is curved, I would assume only the middle room would have the view advertised. Whilst the buffet breakfast was nice, it was a shambles every morning. One morning we were placed in an overflow area which was not serviced well. Had to seek out basic items like sale and pepper and when found, they were empty. Ran out of some food items which were not replaced so the later breakfast diners missed out. Like most venues these days, not enough staff for the volume of diners.

We flew over from Melbourne to watch the Matilda’s the location was perfect and the view from our room was amazing

Great facilities. Location is excellent and staff are courteous and very helpful.

We travelled with two other couples and they mixed up the valet parking charging one of the other guests with our car.
