Staff at reception were both amazing, really enjoyed talking to them. The Hotel has charm and well situated next to the centre of Aveiro. Clean rooms and quiet area. Enjoy a complimentary glass of Port at check in

People were friendly. Clean. Easy to access everything around. Even though there was no parking, they allowed us to remain out front.
Called down with emergency at 1am as my husband's sugar level dropped and he was very sick. They charged me 4 euro for a glass of OJ and if I had not picked it up myself, it would have been 5 euro more. Room was small, bed felt older, hotel older, NO PARKING. Even though we were allowed to remain out front to park, in the morning when we tried to leave, we were blocked by a truck. It was cold in the room and even after we figured out the remote for heat, it never heated up.

Sehr, sehr kleine Zimmer. Für zwei Personen und einen Aufenthalt von mehr als einem Tag nicht zu empfehlen. Zwei Personen teilen sich einen Stuhl. Das Schlafen kann nur bei geöffnetem Fenster erfolgen, da das kleine Zimmer keine andere Be-und Entlüftung hat. Das Frühstück ist vom Angebot sehr eingeschränkt und jeden Tag absolut gleich. Die Parkplatzsituation ist extrem schlecht. Einen Platz in der kleinen Tiefgarage kann man nicht buchen.

Friendly staff with safe secure parking at a good rate. Good self service buffet breakfast.
Manageress gave us access to our room long before check in time. She also helped us with the payment of Portuguese tolls.
A bit far from the hub if you don't like a 20 minute walk.

The location was perfect - halfway between the train station and downtown. Excellent cafés and restaurants nearby. Very nice staff. Clean room and facilities.
The bed was creaky and soft - hard on the back. There was a constant mechanical hum (perhaps a generator?) which made it hard to fall asleep. The rooster crowing loudly at inexplicable intervals throughout the night didn’t help!

Close to railway station, 10 minutes walk to canals and town. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Nice unhurried bar to have a quiet nightcap. Really enjoyed our stay here.

This hotel easily became my home away from home. I came once before and didn't want to leave. Now, it has become my 1st choice of hotels in Aveiro. The hotel is traditionally beautiful on the outside and modern on the inside with a courtyard and fish pond. About 10 minutes to the bus and 5 minutes to train stations, walking distance to the forum, and many restaurants . The staff were excellent, 10 out of 10.

Had a very nice stay. The lady at Reception was most helpful: I wanted to explore Costa Nova which requires taking a bus from Aveiro, and she gave me directions to the Bus Station and provided me with photocopies of the bus timetable. Made my trip much easier!

large rooms, clean, close to train station but on quiet street, pretty building, details
freshly painted rooms, smell of paint, had to keep window wide open on cold day: not to owner, wait a week after painting and make sure paint smells are vented before offering rooms; but good for those in summer who will stay here, but not for my trip

Bright and clean hotel.
Great value given location. Accept old water front part of town is 10-15 mins walk away.
Small bar but an outside courtyard option. ( building work next door)

Odd gloves needed when self serving breafast. Confused most of the guests. We do except covid procauctions but this was not working
