We were lucky enough to be the first to enjoy this new apartment at Calypso Villas for an extended w-e. From the moment we arrived to the minute we left, everything was perfect. Gina and her team welcomed us like family and helped us with everything. I cannot thank them enough for all their attention to detail and their support in everything, including staying up till midnight to bring us the cake for my girlfriend’s birthday. And let’s not forget the magnificent (and huge) breakfast that we never managed to eat in its entirety. Combine all this with a sunrise visible from bed and you will get your piece of paradise. 10/10!!

I had a perfect vacation here. Katerina is the best host I have ever met. She is very nice and fulfilled her guests' needs as much as possible. The room was so cosy, it made me feel at home. The other two staff were also very friendly, the room was very clean, and the breakfast was prepared with great care. It was delivered to our room on time every day. We could sit on the balcony and watch the sunrise while having breakfast. Next to the hotel is the sea, with a private small beach, the water is very clear, and this is a paradise for swimmers. Here I can relax completely and enjoy peace. I highly recommend it!

Everything! The views are fantastic, the private beach as well. Appartments are very clean, sunny and nice. And the host was wonderful, helped with everything and showed places to visit, and even made last night dinner as a gift. You couldn’t ask for more! The property has a wonderful garden and everything you need for sunbathing and activities on water. Whereas in the walking distance you can reach LemonTree taverna for local meal.

The only things that could be improved but doesn’t lower my evaluation of excellence: 1) the power outlets near the beds are not enough for nowadays. You can either plug in night lamp or charger not both. 2) although we quite valued daily room service with clean floor mats, made up beds and washed dishes, folding the clothes left on chair and reorganizing papers left on the table was a bit much for our Northern European nationality.

Everything and everyone! Perfect tranquility, attention to detail, delicious breakfast delivered to your balcony with perfect discreet service. The apartment and grounds were immaculate. Everything made you feel relaxed and calm in an idyllic haven by the beautiful sea. The hosts and staff went above and beyond to welcome you.

it was paradise..located on northeast side of Zakynthos away from all the touristy congested things. you need to rent a car if you wish to see the island which we did from the airport before arriving. Katharine the owner and her staff were exceptional. we were greeted upon arrival once unpacked our host sat down with us on our beautiful balcony viewing the Ionian Sea and showed us a map of the island, places we might want to see and made several restaurant suggestions which we enjoyed.restaurant Bassia, Cave Daminas and steps from the villa Amoudi beach restaurant. the villa was cleaned daily and the ordered breakfast served on your porch was lovely. ( for 18 euros you had a magnificent selection of eggs, waffles, pancakes, fresh squeezed Orange juice, coffee, fruit, bacon,omelets, spinach or cheese pie. we also requested little sandwiches so we could take on our adventures during the day. we bought snorkels down the street and small local mini groc stores…every night enjoyed local wine purchased there. Friendly staff and it has its own beach front and lounging area… very private. This is the only place we would stay on Zakynthos and will recommend to everyone. Boat rental for a day- captains boat rental economy boat -no license required -the Sea water is the most brilliant blue we have ever seen!

One of the best places where we stayed. Great hosts, very welcoming and willing to help with anything. Villa is great - awesome views, few steps to the beach, very spacious and clean, with everything you need. I recommend adding a breakfast to your stay.

We stayed in the Clio apartment for 3 nights, which had amazing sea views, including a beautiful sunrise. We had planned to visit lots of places while we were there, however it was so nice that we made the most of the lovely sunbeds and local restaurant and didn't leave at all! We only had the breakfast on one of the days, however it was delicious and there was enough left to have as a light lunch. It included fresh fruit, Bruschetta's, Greek Yoghurt, honey, bread, fresh juice, tea/coffee, omelette, cake, homemade jam. Would definitely recommend!

It was very clean and cosy. Right at the sea with small beach and lounge chairs. The hosts were amazing offering help whenever we asked. Definitely ask then for recommendations where to eat.

The apartments are well furnished and comfortable situated in a beautiful location facing the sea and with a little nice beach near. The owner and the staff are very helpful and kindly for any requests. Also breakfast is full with fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, marmalade and local foods Breakfast is subject to additional charges but it is worth it.

Many thanks to the hosts for this wonderful stay! Our superior villa was super clean and spacious. Our terrace had the best views of the beach and the sunset. The hosts were very accommodating and extremely helpful with any requests we had. Location was also superb, with plenty of restaurants and bars near by. I wouldn’t hesitate twice booking at Calypso Villas!

The apartment was spotlessly clean and felt like a home away from home. It was amazing just sitting on the comfy sofa by the bay window and looking outside towards the sea and the little bay. The property had loads of fruit trees and flowers which made it even more beautiful. The host, Katerina, was really kind and helpful, and gave us homemade marmalade for breakfast. The couple looking after the property were also very kind and tended to any issues immediately.

The location was a bit far from “all the action” in the south of the island but most places in Zakinthos are half an hour drive away so not a big deal.

The private area outside the villa is great for morning dining with a sea view & the sun beds add extra comfort. The beach is just a few steps away and the grounds have been kept beautifully. Additional touches have been thought about such as outside shower facilities and access to the 2 kayaks for guests. The surrounding area is beautiful and quiet.

Cooking facilities would've made our room that much better, but having a sink and a fridge area was just perfect for our trip anyway.
