Good location and very comfortable. A pleasant,.airy room. Peaceful sleep. Easy to park.

Clean spacious and comfortable room in the courtyard with everything you could need. Shower is fabulous, great pressure and lots of hot water. Friendly staff, great breakfast.

Only small comments. , room needs curtains or proper fitted window blinds. Light shines in room at sides of blinds when closed. Can we have pots of tea at buffet breakfast instead of messing round with cup and tea bags

lovely stop over for an early morning flight. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful even at 5 am in the morning!

Had to run the cold tap as Hot water coming out of it initially. Weren’t informed of items unavailable at breakfast before ordering

Situated in a good location, lovely grounds, easy access and clean rooms. Staff are very friendly and generally it’s a very enjoyable stay.

I’ve been staying here for approx 4 years now. I feel the standard has slipped a little for the price. The toiletries have become sparse; just a general body/hair/face wash rather than the shampoo/conditioner before. They no longer provide robes, or at least there were none in my room. I had to ask house keeping for clean towels as they hadn’t replaced the old ones. Just small things, but they have been noticeable.

Room211 Bathroom Door was swelled at bottom and stuck on the tiles causing be to bang into it.

Delicious evening meal on arrival, served well. Lovely evening.

Breakfast service was awful. Arrived at table at 8am as arranged, cooked breakfast served at 8.45 by which time we had gone off the notion of food, although it was well cooked and tasty. Serving staff poorly trained. . Decaf tea tasted of nothing, Manager immediately refunded breakfast which made me feel a bit mean but it was fair for the appalling service.

The room (317)had a fuse box in the wardrobe which was irritatingly noisy and prevented us having a good nights sleep

The breakfast was exceptional. It was lovely to be served rather than a buffet style.

The WiFi signal was not strong enough to reach our room

Wonderful old hotel with high standard of food and service. When we arrived there was a wedding setting up, but we were treated as if we were the only guests in the hotel. They moved our room to a better room as it was our anniversary. On arriving in our room, there was a bottle of Prosecco along with a hand written card from the staff.

The only negatives are minor which in no way detracts from our wonderful stay. The bathrobes were rather tired and ill fitting. For breakfast fried eggs would be better than scrambled.
