The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and spacious. The food in the restaurand was excellent, and so was the breakfast.

The hotel isave very expensive and therefore something more could have been expected. The breakfast was not included in the booking.com price (which was not clear for us). The breakfast costed 16 EUR, if you wanted a continental breakfast, it costed 26 EUR/person. In the room, there was no mirror for shaving, and there was also no coffee or tea on the room. Ice was available in the corridor.

Executive Lounge was very handy and had good continental style breakfast which suited our dietary habits, Kounge bar was busy and good fun. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, Great position to explore the city, and its attractions - everywhere walkable

Alcoholic drinks in executive lounge? Slightly more sound proofing in the rooms (we could here a lot of drama in our next door room)

Staff at the reception was exceptionally polite and actually rememberred my name next morning. I have ever experienced that in a hotel with this volume. Breakfast was adequate (continental), but I have used to more value on the money spent.

The rooms weren't that beautiful compared to the hotel's restaurant and the style of the hotel.

Very convenient location. Room was well equipped, a/c was effective and beds were comfy. The various food offerings - casual dining, restaurant and lunch venue were all very pleasant. Service was friendly, helpful, efficient and food was well prepared. Overall good value.

We loved absolutely everything about staying at The River Lee Hotel! Our room was immaculately clean as was the entire property, the location is fantastic, the beds were comfortable and the whole place just felt great. But more than all that, the staff are wonderful here — we didn’t meet a single person who wasn’t kind and helpful. One manager in particular went above and beyond when both my partner and I fell ill the day we arrived at the hotel. He truly took care of us and made us feel safe while far from home and checked in with us throughout our stay. Absolutely above and beyond. We’ll never forget his kindness! We highly recommend the River Lee and we’re looking forward to coming back!

Too much noisy irritating music in the dining area. I asked repeatedly to have this turned down or turned off but was told they could not do so. This more or less ruined a family gathering as conversation was difficult. Finally like everything in Ireland far too expensive! The Irish know this well enough!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was immaculate.

We were at River Lee 2 nights. Fire alarms went off both nights 3 in the middle of the night. Front desk staff gave us free parking for 2 nights of disrupted sleep - which was a nice gesture. We had a room overlooking the River Lee. However, the seal on the window (between the two panes) was broken, so the view was fogged and you couldn't see clearly. The carpet in the common areas was worn and looked shabby. Ordinarily, I don't mind...but for a hotel that markets itself as a luxury hotel, the condition of the carpet didn't match the brand.
