Perfekte Lage und wunderschöner Frühstücksraum mit Sicht auf den Fluss. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Besonders genossen haben wir die familiäre Atmosphäre und die wohltuende Freundlichkeit der Angestellten. Wir haben uns willkommen und sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke!

Es gab nichts.

The bed was quite comfortable, the price was comparatively cheap, parking was available a few doors down in a vacant lot. The garden terrace outside the common area was beside a river and was quite picturesque, not really from the room though. Walking distance to city center, eateries and sightseeing options, also nice walking around the river area.

I had a single room. It was up a few flights of stairs, I had to take my large suitcase up there. As you can see from the pics it was a very small room. The bathroom was accessed via a skinny door which I first mistook for a cupboard. There was little room in the bathroom, and no-where except the floor for your toiletry bag. The shelf in the shower was loose and hanging off the wall so you needed to put all your stuff on the floor. There was a kettle, but the cord didn't reach to the power point (yes I tried turning the base around so the cord was on the end of shelf, but it still didn't reach) so I had to put it on the floor. The TV reception was constantly buffering so trying to watch TV was pointless. They seemed like they catered quite well to people wanting a hot breakfast, but there was no real Continental option to speak of besides about 20 packets of Bran Flakes. I went out for breakfast to Cafe Velo I think it was, they had a good number of options. There were no sheers on the windows, and there were a number of houses opposite, so you need to shut the heavier curtains for privacy. Even though I paid for 2 nights accommodation I packed up and left after I got back from eating out for breakfast. If you are after a reasonably priced room with a hot breakfast, are not a large person, and don't mind small spaces or ambient noise (bring earplugs if you are not a sound sleeper), this place could be for you. The Franciscan Well Brewery serves good pizza and beer in a nice beer garden, and was within walking distance.

Good location, near river, big park. To city center is around 15 mins by walk. The house was private before, but rebuild to guest house, which means, you'll leave like in house and feel this spirit. Kettle in the room.

Bathroom is tiny. Breakfast is preparing by administrator for each guest, only few things a self service. This means your breakfast could take a some time, bear in mind. We waited around 15 mins after ordering. Coffee machine didn't work, and we had to drink not so good instant coffee. In general, our stay didn't match with price around 185 euros per night.

Nothing to do with the bed and breakfast, but being close to the University mean it can get noisy at night.
