This is a wonderful grand dame hotel right on the river's bank in the lovely historic old town of Uppsala. Gorgeous hotel, wonderful breakfast, friendly staff, terrific bar. Three thumbs up from our family. Special kudos to the bartender who was inordinately friendly and oh so very helpful.

Lovely old hotel with a super helpful staff. There was seating outside in front of the hotel as well as a nice area inside just off the entrance. The room was simple, very comfortable and had a really large window. The location was ideal- an easy walk from the central station to many of the local sights. And it is right on the river that runs through Uppsala. The staff member who checked me in was very patient and helpful with a reservation that a bit confusing. I loved this place!

Wifi was good. Hotel was in the old town, close to everything we wanted to see. Breakfasts were fine.

The lift was slow, and sometimes did not behave properly. Otherwise, all good.

The room was very comfortable, clean and pleasant to stay! Stuff was extremely kind, welcoming and helpful! Breakfast offers a broad range of possibilities, including vegan options! It was nice and quite restorant to start your day. Higly recommended!😊

It's a beautiful old hotel. We had a standard room that was well appointed with a great view, compact bathroom with a great shower and heated floors. I reserved parking, which was great, but there are lots with reasonable pricing a few blocks away. REALLY friendly staff, nice cozy bar and great breakfast.0

One hundred year old hotel with elegant style.

Fantastic location next to central Uppsala. I loved everything about this hotel and want to stay again. Beautiful historic building. The single room was perfect for one person. Loved the breakfast. My room was quiet. Easy walk to the train station and shopping, restaurants.

Overall a great hotel

Parking was a bit meh, rather difficult to enter because of a very narrow entrance, but nice to have the option to park there (for an additional fee)
