Not clean, felt unsafe as a solo female traveller. Dodgey door locks, property not secure- people can just walk in off the street and the neighbourhood felt dodgey too

The staff were friendly and nice and the room was large.

A homeless man outside with a trolley with his belonging in, who then started sawing some wood. There were a few people they who didn’t look the friendliest. The door looked like it had been broken into a few times. We felt unsafe and decided to leave short after getting into the hotel. Also the room and bathroom were quite dirty with dust and grime.

The staff were rude. The room was disgusting with mould and stained furniture. The bed has as hard as concrete. The shower taps wouldn’t turn off completely so it dribbled all night. The sliding door did not lock properly so they had installed a chain but it could be easily lifted off the hook from the outside. The area did not feel safe. I encountered several instances of people fighting in the street and being abusive on just the one night I stayed.

The walkways around the room get very dirty with the rain and there is no way to avoid bringing that dirt into the room

Well located, large room with nice bed and separate bathroom. Air conditioning works well in combination with the fan. Missing the window that was in the bathroom. Room was clean. Plenty of space for storage. Parking spot for free in front of apartment. Nice guys at reception.

We have little ants that get into our food. There was a spray for insects. So we could deal with them. We have to keep the door to the amphitheatre closed. Curtain must be closed to avoid being seen from outside.

Look it's hard to rate this place but I will say it's one of the cleanest places I ever stayed. Its old and run down. Its dated but its clean. well, it's very clean even the AC unit was clean!

Too noisy, other guest having phone conversations at 1130 pm on the patio at the top of their voices followed by other guest at 4am and well you're in the direct path of the airport. Being from the bush it was a very loud experience.

very old style rooms. funny smell. loud noise all night from front of hotel that kept us awake. would not ever stay here again.

the day we arrived, the receptionist was very rude and unhelpful. Our first time in Cairns and didn't know how to get around and she did not have a helpful attitude.

The bed was comfortable and it was a reasonable distance to get into the centre of cairns.

The TV didn’t work properly - smart tv but none of the apps would load as it couldn’t connect to the internet. The bathroom floor would be soaked after a shower

Facilities like tea coffee , microwave , water heating kettle, A/C were present along with iron etc. it was nice arrangement as per the cost.

The restaurant was not functional. I had to order food from outside.

Price was okay, we had a nice garden view.

Room was very dated. No fan or ventilation in bathroom other than a 2x6” window opening. Only one plug outlet and one very harsh bright ceiling light. Sliding door barely worked.

I didn’t enjoy any aspect of this motel

I asked for a ground floor room which I didn’t receive, which I eventually had to ask for...Out of the reception staff only the blonde lady was attentive the other lady and male staff didn’t seem interested Hott

Even though we stayed in a basic room it covered all our requirements. All features in room were clean, we had taken a power board so the fact there was only one power point it didn't affect us but would have been an issue if we hadn't taken one, Microwave and fridge very useful and the pool was in good condition and great to come back to after a day out.
