Informal approach towards guests, you are not having to sign for dinner etc.

My room must have been the smallest in the whole pub, so i think this should ideally be reflected in the price. A fair rate would probably be around £68-£70. The kettle needed filling using a separate glass as the sink was so small.

Super helpful team, assisted me with a change of room to be next to my elderly mother, no fuss at all. Amazing food, both the evening meal and breakfast were high-end and nothing was too much trouble. A real gem of a place!

Everything was excellent, just a note for those less mobile may struggle with the stairs.

Staff are very friendly , breakfast is great and I like the location (3 small supermarkets and many other shops etc on doorstep- if you need them )

A great location, the owners were extremely friendly and their staff are a credit to their management style, as they are very friendly and polite. The food was excellent evening meal and breakfast too. I asked if our family who live near by could join us for breakfast and the answer was no problem,it was lovely relaxing way to start the day.

There could be better lighting in the bathroom and downstairs toilets it was very dull possibly try LED light bulbs? I did feel a little cold in the dining room but I wouldn't expect heating on in August .

Great location, lovely room, comfortable bed, very friendly and helpful staff, and a nice bar too! Breakfast out of normal hours was not a problem at all - tasty and delivered promptly to the room!

Sometimes had to park on the street, but always found a space.
