Excellent hotel, friendly staff, free private parking, easy to find, accessible by road, wonderful garden and surroundings, excellent facilities (fridge, safe, even Smart TV), excellent breakfast, very charming and wonderful experience overall.

Location was great. Very quiet rural setting with large garden and ponds. Good parking. Friendly and helpful reception. Clean room and lovely and warm. Breakfast nice plenty of choice

Duvets a bit lumpy. Only 1 pillow per person. Shower in bad condition, cracked tiles and mouldy grouting. Shower door knob very loose and a sloping shelf. Small room with no chairs. No drinking water or kettle and tea making facilities. Condition of garden rooms building quite poor although main house seemed in better condition.

The room and bathroom was perfectly clean and the bed comfortable. The heating worked well.

There is too much of the hotel broken or worn out. The main building looks very very tired, the pathways to the outside rooms are breaking up and a trip risk. There are broken lights in the drive left lying down on the ground. Booking.com promises a restaurant but there is NO restaurant unless you drive to the town. The breakfast room has the air of an old school dining room - zero atmosphere.

The location near the lake and forest. Perfect for relaxing

Attractive building and setting; good-sized bathroom; comfortable bed; willing and helpful staff

The hotel was dark and gloomy and the decor was tired and shabby, with peeling paint. Apart from the bedside lights there was only one electric socket in the room. Although the bathroom was a good size there were large hooks at head-height on the bathroom door, which could have caused serious injury in the dark. Broken decking outside was covered with artificial grass which was soggy and dangerous. All this for a relatively high price.

The location right in one of the most beautiful golf course in Europe was just great

The staff was not very pleasant

The property is near the golf course which allows to have a golf party and to stay without rushing back to Paris. Friendly and helpful staff. Baby and cat friendly!

The rooms are a little bit old and need some refreshment (e.g.walls painting etc)
