Dado todos los problemas que tuve en el hotel, cuesta identificar algo que rescatar.

Mi estadia de tres noches en Posada Sur fue una muy mala experiencia. Primero, me exigieron cancelar la estadia al momento del ingreso. Dado aquello, como preferi pagar en moneda local, le pedi la llave al trabajador de turno en la recepcion para acceder a la habitación, para ordenarnos y luego pagar y casi nos impidio el acceso a la habitación, a lo que le manifestamos que el dinero para pagar estaba en la maleta. Al dia siguiente de la primera noche de nuestra estadia, la habitación no fue hecha ni limpiada. La respuesta verbal del hotel: "Usted no dejo la llave". Dicho protocolo que nunca me fue informado al llegar al hotel. La segunda noche fue imposible dormir ante ruidos molestos que provenian de un local nocturno de música que funcionó hasta las 6 de la mañana y que esta muy próximo de la habitacion que usamos (unos 30.mt. aprox.). La respuesta verbal del hotel: "era una situacion ajena a ellos". Tuve ruidos molestos en la techumbre de la pieza que ocupamos en los tres dias, ruidos de ratones y pajaros. La respuesta verbal del hotel: Primeramente nos dijeron que eran bandurrias y posteriormente que eran palomas. Los ruidos del entretecho no eran propios a tales aves. Todas estas situaciones fueron expuestas verbalmente y por escrito al hotel, pero durante mi estadia no tuve ninguna respuesta ni solución concreta, no hubo ninguna accion tendiente a mitigar las molestias causadas. A la fecha tampoco se ha dado una respuesta por escrito por el reclamo efectuado ante todos los problemas ocurridos durante la estadia.

great place, super quiet and nice spacious rooms. 5min walk into town. lovely staff, super helpful with everything! breakfast delicious with what felt like home cooked baked items! we ended up rebooking to stay there when we came back as it was just so nice.

The staff was brilliant! Informal enough and went the extra mile to help with each of our many questions and necessary arrangements. Breakfast was generous and served in the same room that turns into evening restaurant. We had one meal there and it was abundant and tasty. The location is out of town centre but at relatively short walking distance and very quick on a taxi. Nearby there's one of the best restaurants of El Calafate with great food and fab views towards town, lake and mountains and perfect at sunset.

We were on single beds and unfortunately they 'walked' as we moved as we slept. They were rather small and could do with an upgrade.

Close to bus station. WiFi was alright in common areas. Breakfast had selection of fruit, cakes, meat. Very clean. Hot water on tap to fill your flask. Bath, but bring your own travel plug. There was Alps a fridge in the room and safe.

There was a mini rave going on in the parking lot close by, so didn't get much sleep. The lunch bag was not as good as others provided elsewhere. The pillows were a strange slab of foam.
