Decor and restaurant

Naumi was very close to Wellington city centre. I initially felt let down by the place as I could not find the entrance to the building but was really pleasantly surprise when I found the place and entered the building. It was immaculate and it has a good bohemian feel to it. Not my style but it was great to experience it. Things are new, feel very clean and I had a good night's sleep. Access to a pantry of free drinks and chips/crips was a nice touch

Everything was good although the studio room was a bit small. Had we known when booking we would probably have booked a larger room in the hotel.

Perhaps better information regarding the make up of the Hotel and Studios.

Loved the complimentary drink and popcorn bar, great to have the fan room was quite warm.

The hotel has it ALL - great location, wonderful staff, beautiful facilities and great food. Yep, an excellent visit!

Clean and comfortable, the complimentary mini bar was a cute touch. The room was pretty basic underneath it all but they've scrubbed it up well with some fun carpet, kitsch decor and an elevator covered in glitter. It was refreshing to stay at a hotel that's not a boring carbon copy of every other hotel out there. The location was really good, close to Cuba St. The buffet breakfast was nice and there's also a lot of great breakfast cafes nearby.

No AC in rooms on the second floor. Theres a ceiling fan and one small window In a shoebox sized room when the weather outside was 30deg, the room was hotter and stayed hot all day and night. We were in a full sweat with no escape. Had 3 cold showers in the space of 2 hours at night just to make sleeping bareable. Wouldnt reccomend staying during the summer. Or a warning/alternative option would have been nice

I liked the decor and location was great

No A/C and very cramped rooms. There was a ceiling fan but the room was very hot. Didn't sleep because we had to keep the windows open and sleep on the top of the bed to keep cool. Breakfast wasn't brilliant either.

The room was a little cramped but this was reflected in the cost.

Very comfortable bed. Room was small but had everything we needed with extra touches of cold drinks and chocolates in the mini fridge, along with a great selection of teas and coffee for making a drink in your room.

Extremely small rooms and no air con. Felt very claustrophobic. Almost impossible to use the mirror as a full length one given the location

Naumi Studio is a really nice, slightly quirky hotel, ideally situated in Cuba Street.

Room - had all the amenities needed, except for a plug next to a good makeup light - bathroom light useless for makeup. Room light and mirror better, but no plug for curling wand! Staff all very friendly and helpful.

Pillows - like slippery rubber. Very uncomfortable and all the same. Room very hot - only in the daylight next morning did I figure out that the window could open. Shower leaked all over the bathroom floor - through the gap at the hinges. No solid soap option. Shower base, especially around the outlet, and all the skirtings and corners could do with a decent scrub - probably look clean when damp, but not when dry. If the towel rail was meant to be heated by the switch below, it did not work! Light bulb above shower not working - didn't bother me, but someone might complain.

Would be nice if the lights could be dimmer it was hard to have Ambient light, also the bathroom needed a good clean, toothpaste up the window sills. Jug was filthy but staff replaced without issue.

I loved the decor - tasteful and interesting. The rooms were thoughtfully laid out and well appointed and the staff were helpful and friendly.

I couldn't fault it.

Disappointing. Hash browns were hard and unappetizing. No tomatoes. No baked beans. Good choices for the continental breakfast

Central location, free snacks, room better than expected

It was comfortable, warm an inviting. Lovely an willing staff.

We never got the same cleaning facilities eg missing a mat in the shower the first night, an a hand towel the second an third night. We asked the mini bar tō be restocked the second day and it was missed. Warning the shower leaked out the door would have been nice. Mini bars were not consistant between rooms. These were all easily fixed though 😀 There was a mix up with payment charges tō incorrect cards etc but it was all sorted with a smile an apologies.
