After driving on the crazy traffic in Amalfi coast, this was an oasis to rest. The apartment is beautiful, fully renovated in a Amalfi style, good heating and cooling systems, and with two terraces with a beautiful view of Amalfi. The apartment has only one bedroom upstairs but a comfortable couch in the living room.

They're a lot of stairs to get there. You need to wait for the host, otherwise you won't get there by yourself. The view has some antennas on the way if you care a lot about pictures.

Location and views. It's a bit of an awkward one, since it might be equally considered as a disadvantage if you're after being close to action, nightlife etc. As we were on a family holiday this was not a problem for us. Amalfi town is within 30 mins walk (stairs) and you can easily return with the bus that departs from the pier once per hour. The apartment has everything you could imagine and is perfectly suitable for self-catering. A dedicated parking lot (included in the price) is a massive benefit as well.

We were visiting in October and most of the places nearby were already closed. Something to be aware of rather than disadvantage.

There is no convenient public transportation that stops closer to the property.

Everything was great

Gerardo has created the best place for a vacation in Amalfy. The appartments is more than great away from the crowded center but on the best views as possible. With a walking distance from one of the best attractions in the area. We wore with our kids and they loved it as well.

There is not that regular bus and you need to walk for 1000m to get to the junction to Pontone, where you can take the bus to Amalfi.But this is not that problem cos there is a staircase with picturesque views down to Amalfi and it will take you 15 min down.

We had the best time here, it was a surprise holiday for my husband, it excelled what we thought it would be. amazing views, gorgeous house, great location, fantastic hosts.

Awesome view from terrace. There are two full terraces and full Mediterranean vibes.

Not very convenient to travel if you are dependent on public transport.

Pontone, where the property located, is a peaceful village. There are 2 restaurants and 1 small market close by, quite convenient. The property has a rooftop terrace and a small balcony, offering stunning view of the coast. It is well equipped with kitchen utensils and coffee machine, towels, washing machine, iron, hair dryer etc. Gerardo the host is very helpful and responsive too. We walked twice up and down the 1000 stair steps to Amalfi, tough yes but it’s not impossible. We also took the uphill walk to Ravello, 15-20 minutes. We really enjoyed our stay in Gerardo’s place. No regret.

Amazing view, peace and quiet, comfy and authentic, secure and private. Safe parking lot. 2 very good restaurants a stone’s throw away walking. Very helpful hosts, perfect and easy communication. You won’t miss anything at this place. Do the stairs down to Amalfi at least once - totally worth the effort.

Amazing Experience, great host! picked us up from the bus stop in Amalfi and drove us to location also did the journey back to the bus stop when leaving, always on hand to help when needed. draw-dropping views!

There are ALOT of Steps. Me and my boyfriend love hill walking but these steps are something else! This should not put you off however, it is more than manageable

Beautiful apartment with an amazing view from the roof terrace.The flat is equipped with everything you need. Gerardo contacted us in beforehand and ensured an pleasant hand over of the keys. We would definitely recommend it. Just note that the flat is not suitable for people with limited walking ability. There are some stairs up to the flat.
