Staff and breakfast were great, dinner OK. Large bed. OK for a one night stay. Very close to Laon centre (must see). Glad

Our bedroom was very small, had noisy pipes and the paper/plastic mattress cover.

Really good breakfast

Breakfast was excellent. Location good if used for overnight stop but not if there for a few days, just too far to walk in to town so car every time.

Rooms did not have facility to make tea or coffee, even a kettle would have been appreciated then you could at least purchase tea and coffee to make your own.

Breakfast was good.

Perfect stopover on our way to the Alps. Third year in a row, and rooms always reliable and clean. Secure parking is great so we don’t need to unpack gear. This time we arrived in time for dinner and everything was very tasty. set menu for €15 and kids menu (two large chicken goujons or steak haché). Breakfast is always nice with eggs and bacon, cheese, fruit, yogurt, fresh breads and pastries. Staff very friendly and helpful.

we booked an evening meal for two nights but unfortunately the restaurant was closed on one night but we were told when we arrived

comfortable and clean. Very nice breakfast with a big selection of hot and cold food. secure parking and a great stop over on way to/from Eurotunnel. We’ve stayed a few times and staff always helpful.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Good welcome from reception, and when we did not like the evening menu on the all inclusive rate, they helped us by changing the booking . The breakfast buffet had a good choice with eggs boiled or scrambled, bacon, cold meats and cheeses as well as fruit, yoghurts, cereals and a choice of breads, croissants, pains au chocolate as well as freshly baked madeleines.

The evening menu offered rather basic choices, like steak hache with frites, and allowed no deviation between menus. Most hotels allow you to pay a supplement to widen the choice or upgrade part of the menu, but not here. This is why we appreciated them changing our booking .

We first used this hotel several years ago and were quite impressed. Since then the rooms have gone downhill and require significant refurbishment, especially the bathrooms. Arriving on a Sun evening we were told that the in-house restaurant was closed on Sundays - despite the sign outside saying open 7 nights a week. There was little alternative on a Sun and we ended up in a local McDonald's - which was actually quite good.

Room very warm, close to main road so a lot of traffic noise, pink lights from commercial buildings across road shinning into room around edge of curtains. room and bathroom dated although clean. Evening meal choice limited, Salmon undercooked.

The restaurant does not open on a Sunday, probably this was somewhere in the small print, but did not know and was not convenient

Breakfast adequate. Vegetable tartin as starter excellent

Room cramped for 2 people. Only one paper glass. Thin towels. Door key very poor, had to check it 3 times. Limited dinner menu, had better in the past

Comfortable beds, great breakfast. Good place to stop off en route through France.

There were no security cameras on the car park and gates open 24hrs. We worried about having our motorbike stolen.

Many thanks to manager who put together a simple diner for us as the kitchen was closed.
