excellent location for my trip, the bedroom was large and bright and the access to a restaurant and bar was good. staff always greeted you and were extremely helpful if I needed anything.

I didn't really find anything to dislike

The room was spacious. The food was great. Location was perfect for what we needed.

Our room fronted out on to the main road and was far to noisy for a relaxing break. The mattress was very soft. Shower was cold in the evening.

shower head was very dirty the restaurant/bar area was shut for a function, wish someone had told us pre booking, the reason we decided to stay there, was so we could use the pub downstairs and then just go up to the room, and the pub wasn’t open to people staying there.

All the staff were exceptionally friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure we were happy. We had a broken chair in our room which was replaced immediately.

The pillows - these were hard and uncomfortable, which was a shame as the bed was very comfortable - invest in some higher quality (synthetic) pillows and you'd be 10/10

The room was clean and spacious. The window open for fresh air.

One of the chairs in the room was starting to sag, so was not comfortable. The mattress was fairly soft.

Old pub with beautiful modern large rooms, continental breakfast included in price with cooked options available to purchase (very good) some under cover parking large car park, very comfortable stay.
