Our hosts were super nice and made us feel very welcome. Unlike many others we stayed at Bjärkas for our whole vacation, and we would do so again any time. I can only recommend staying there for a little while and enjoying the peace and quiet of the Finnish countryside. We took frequent trips to the surrounding attractions, none of which are too far away, but were always happy to return to our home abroad. Kiitos!

Really lovely place. seems to be owner operated or at least has that feeling of passion behind it.

Sadly we turned up to have been informed our room wasn’t ready. normal check in was 16:00 but we had a wedding to attend at 15. we had a 5month old child that we needed to have a nap before we left and got ready. so we asked and offered to pay extra for the room to be ready at 13:00! it was all agreed and confirmed. when we arrived we had to wait with a very unhappy, tired little guy getting our room at 14:00. a phone call could have saved all this as we would have just left our home town later or not rushed the drive. Again a little mistake that I can’t judge the over all stay on. Was just ticked off on how it was handled.

Beautiful location, excellent service and tasty (home made) breakfast. Our room was huge and had all the facilities and appliances even for a longer stay. The building accommodated kids' toys, a few exercise equipment and a billiard and ping pong table. Highly recommended.

This is such a lovely place in the countryside. The accommodation unit is very cozy and stylish. The apartment was spotless. This is an ideal place if you play golf or explore beautiful coastal region by car. It is suitable also for families and offers nice facilities for kids. The host family is very lovely, helpful and so hospitality minded.

Nice, clean and functional rooms on a nice property with a super host. Many things to explore in the area. Good breakfast with some very good items (eg proper apple juice)

Difficult to get “Italian” coffee (cappuccino etc) in this region of Finland, which is for addicts like me a bit tough. This has nothing to do the the property of course - and is more problem than anything else 😊
