Great location. Staff was very accommodating with our requests for additional amenities.

Building/room needs updating. For the price we were disappointed with the state of the room. Blinds not functioning. Faucet leaking. Shower squealing. Sound travels quite easily between rooms/hallways and other floors. We had stayed in a different room of the same building before and that room was perfect. Maybe we just ended up with a poorly maintained room.

I like the layout of the apartment, that we had access to hot tub, pool, barbeque and the fact that the apartment was overlooking the beautiful courtyard garden and the mountain. It was relaxing to be able to sit on the patio and watch the stars in the clear night

The furniture and floor carpet is kinda outdated. There is a gap under the entrance door because is missing the bottom seal. We were specified that we have to check out at 10 am and the cleaning guys were knocking at the door at 9 am telling us to rush out. It was a very incomfortable feeling

Liked the size of the unit. Liked how we weren't looking onto another room so we had privacy.

Cushion was ripped. Couldn't get in the room until 4:40 because they were still cleaning it at 4:00. Needed a paint job and updating in bathroom and kitchen although both functioned ok.

The pool and sauna were great for after a long hike

Having to go into town to check in took a bit of time but not a huge issue!

Facilities and location were second to none. This is a very comfortable unit and is exceptionally well equipped. I would recommend this unit to anyone wanting a full kitchen and a location close to lifts and ammenities.

Checking in requires travelling into Whistler which is a little cumbersome and time consuming, especially if traffic is busy. We were initially given incorrect entry codes which took some time to straighten out.

Unit was comfortable and clean. Sofa bed was decent with minimal sagging. Bathroom was in good condition with good supply of towels and tissues. Additional supply of pillow and blanket was prompt when requested.

Check-in desk is a bit far away from the property but acceptable. TV screen size in the unit is a bit outdated and small. Internet speed is a bit slow. Limited kitchen amenities such as missing cutting board and oven baking pan. We like to do some simple cooking in the unit, especially due to the covid pandemic.

To check in, one needs to drive to Cascade lodge in the village (just to check ID, access is a code). At 4 pm (check in time), the round trip took us 40 minutes as this is the time everyone is trying to leave the Village. Ridiculous arrangement. This applies to bookings made through Vacasa.

Condo has great outdoor pool, hot-tub and sauna. We parked in fairly secure underground parking area. Room was quiet and relaxing.

Secure storage at entry is intended for skis not bikes and has no plug-ins. Bike storage at underground parking is not very secure and also has no plug-ins to recharge eBikes. Room was quiet small and bathroom very cramped. Kitchen had very limited cutlery or dishes. It seems owners do not want anyone to cook, eat or drink in unit. Furniture is also dated and folding chairs on deck are uncomfortable.

I wasn't expecting a loft which was very uncomfortable, also very dangerous with a 1 year old. The pictures didn't show a loft.

We made the booking at 18:29 on Jan 6/21 for an overnight stay at Lake Placid Lodge (unit 226), indicating in the notes that we would arrive between 10-11. We received a booking confirmation from Booking.com via email at that time. At 6:33 pm we received an email from Vacasa indicating that we would receive directions and and entry codes. We arrived in the entry way of Lake Placid Lodge at Creekside at 10.30pm as we had indicated in our reservation. We could see lock boxes in the entry way, but we still had not received details about the unit and how to enter it, and no information was available through our Booking.com account. We called the Booking.com using your 24 phone line, but your rep could give us no information or details about the unit. We then called Resort Quest (now 10.44pm) who were confused as to why we had not received Check in details. They insisted that I complete a verbal agreement, before they would release information required to enter the unit, and also then told us that we would have to drive to Whistler Village (Cascade Lodge) to register and pick up the necessary information to enter the unit. I did not receive the necessary check-in information to know we had to go to Cascade Lodge until the ResortQuest Whistler representative emailed me the information at 11:02 pm . I received a second identical email with check-in details at 12:54am Jan 7. To me this suggests that your systems are unable to manage a last minute booking effectively. It really wasn't that last minute (you had 4 hours lead time). We chose to stay overnight (rather than driving in from vancouver) so we could get an early start the next day. However, we were not able to get back and into Unit 226, Lake Placid Lodge, Creekside until 11:45pm because of the delays as we tried to call to get the necessary check-in information and travelled to a 2nd destination. In addition, we only had 3 pillows (4 travelers).

A bit of a pain to have to check in at another location but it was manageable Too far to walk to main Whistler Olympic Plaza but we knew that ahead of time that the location was a bit farther out
