Such a warm welcome, our room smelt so clean and fresh, the bed was really soft and I appreciated the extra pillows and towels. The hosts went above and beyond offering a bigger pot when I explained we were in town for our great nephew's 5th birthday and I was going to make a potato salad. Parking just outside our door, convenient location to all the shops in Whakatane.

Dog friendly room and convenient location. We got nice & clean upstair room.On arrival we got warm welcome and gave us good descriptions of the area where we can go with our fur child. Also gave us detailed map of Whakatane district and free doggy poop bags. Highly recommend if you are traveling with pets.

Incredibly central, very friendly lady on the desk who pointed me to the Sunday craft market which was a lot of fun. Older building but very very clean and comfortable. A great place to stay with the dogs.

The room was very clean and tidy. Everything was in great working order. The reception staff who met me on artival was excellent. I'd come back again.

Loved th location big room and able to self cook.
Just heat and the fan wasn't quite keeping us cool, but would come back as the staff were nice it was clean, good location and big room.

Unit was very hot, no aircon, just a fan pushing around hot air, it was manageable from 10pm on.

Great location, perfect place for me and my 9 year old. Very clean and tidy , friendly and helpul staff. Decent sized room with everything you need.
Only thing didnt like was the road noise

I liked the space & couldn't hear road noise.
The bed and couch are both needing replacement. Despite notes about being clean, the first coffee cup I pulled out had lipstick on it. The dog in the unit next door barked and barked and barked so that will tell you inter-unit noise travels.

Decided to stay another night. Very clean, everything we needed in the apartment. Comfortable beds. Staff were wonderful. Definitely would come back again.

Excellent location handy from the highway. Accommodated our 2 dogs and were provided poop bags too. Super cute.
Tight parking but not many units so wasn't much of a major issue.
