B&B Chartres Centre Cathedrale is your standard, short-stay hotel. While the rooms are quite comfortable, they are small. The breakfast was generous and included scrambled eggs and bacon as well as cold cuts and cheese. We appreciated the private, locked, parking lot.

Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig nur 10 Gehminuten entfernt von Kathedrale und Altstadt. Das war bei der Auswahl für uns ausschlaggebend. Das Haus scheint zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen zu sein, bot uns aber eigentlich alles, was man braucht. Die Betten waren bequem, die Dusche 1A erholsam. Das Zimmer war lediglich etwas klein und dunkel. Sehr angenehm bei der Hitze draußen war die gut funktionierende Klimaanlage!
Der Service war wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstücksbüffet war ganz okay. Es gab Kaffee, verschiedene Säfte, Croissants, Pain au chocolat, Baguette, Joghurts und Cerealien, verschiedene Marmeladen. Bei verfügbarem Platz steht der PKW optimal und kühl für eine geringen Aufpreis in der Tiefgarage.
Im Sommer sollte man sich die ab 22.00 Uhr beleuchtete Kathedrale und den Rundgang Chartres en Lumieres auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen!

Das Hotel ist toll gelegen, die Cathedrale ist sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen, einfach die Straße links den Berg herauf.
Das Personal ist sehr nett. Vielen Dank.
Die Zimmer sind schon teilweise sehr abgewohnt. Die Klimaanlage hat nur sehr schwach getan.

Comfortable bed with a basic but varied breakfast nr good park, the river and easy walk up to the Cathedral.
The welcome was lacking, but they were checking in a crowd of students as we arrived, who stood in the doorway with heavy bags at my eye level ! After walking our dog nearby we went out to the nearby Irish pub for supper.

Un froid terrible dans la chambre. Impossible d’augmenter le niveau de chauffage. Nuisance du bruit de la soufflerie du chauffage qui était plutôt de la climatisation.
Personnel lent et incompétent. 20 minutes d’attente pour obtenir une facture.

This really is a great little budget hotel. Location is spot on to walk into the town, outdoors seating by the river, comfy beds, evening meal was very good and the cherry on the cake for bikers is secure under ground parking.

The surroundings were very nice, you could eat breakfast outside n the terrace. Breakfast was quit good and plentiful.
The rooms are much too small. We asked for another room as ours was on the street and very loud. We did get another room on the second floor toward the back and had a view of the cathedral, but all thr rooms were the same size. The staff was helpful enough but all in all, the price was too high for what was offered.

Deviations and roadworks - hopefully temporary - made driving to the hotel a hellish experiance. The road signs were inadequate and might of encouraged most visitors to give up and go elsewhere. The lasting impression was that visitors - especially new ones - were unwelcomed.

The check in process was easy and we were allocated private parking spaces in the secure garage for our motorcycles. The location was perfect for walking into the city centre and the morning breakfast was excellent.

The location was excellent for the cathedral which you can walk to. The hotel parking was safe and all the staff couldn't do enough to help you. The beds were comfy and a great hotel for a great price. Would stay here again.
