This room was a great value, but it had some oddities I wish I'd known beforehand. My biggest issue was that to access the rooms I needed to complete the pre check in forms online and be able to call a Spanish cell phone number and I wasn't made aware of this by the host until I was ready to check in. Since my international sim card didn't allow for phone calls, I couldn't open the door. When I contacted the host through booking.com it took over an hour and a half for them to respond and grant me access to the room. On a smaller level, while check out says 11:30 am, the cleaning crew arrived by 10:15 am. While they were very nice, they were clearly waiting on me right outside my room to leave so I felt pressured to leave earlier. Overall, still an excellent value. I paid 38 euro for a private room with an ensuite bathroom and a great kitchen. I'd recommend, as long as this works for your needs!

Pension in a good location for visiting the old city. Everything is online (so you have the fill in a webform to check-in, door is opened by a calling a telephone number, and breakfast is self-service). Room was clean, but as mentioned before the building is a bit noisy.

Room 5 is beautiful and has a super comfy mattress and great natural lighting.

Really poor communication - specifically the check in instructions were not sent through the Booking platform and because I have a different SIM while doing the Camino (my US number does not work in Spain), I had no idea they had been sent and there is no one on-site. The phone number on the door had no response. That number was different than the number in Booking. That number did have a response. It was really frustrating and could have been easily avoided by using the Booking platform. I also had to ask for the information about breakfast. The shared bathroom wasn't explained either. Small bars of hand soap which kept disappearing so I had to remember to bring my own soap with me every time I went to the bathroom (liquid would be much better in a shared bathroom).

Did not see any staff. It was extremely noisy with street cleaners, other guests and passing public until early hours of the morning. Breakfast ..there was nothing left but a cup of tea and a little pre packed cake.

Perfect location to explore Leon on a budget. Friendly and helpful staff!

Cozy apartments, you feel like at home. Everything is within easy reach, there is an underground parking lot nearby, and the train station is a 15-minute walk away. Very friendly staff. Arrival in the evening can be arranged.

The location was shocking above a bar that was still serving drinks at 4.30 in the morning. So so noisy take ear plugs. The bathroom was ok but the shower leaked into the bathroom floor. The walls were very thin beware

Was one of the best places I stayed in Spain, if not the best. Characterful old building- but not run-down. well decorated, really clean. great location. kitchen available to use. can’t say a work bad about it, was great. lovely staff too. I will 100% stay here when I am in León next.
