The view, very beautiful everywhere in Ischa

I chose the place for the amenities offered, but the wifi was only available for some days in the reception area, not everywhere as advertised, and I needed it for work. The air conditioning did not work either. When I complained about the wifi, the guy at the reception shouted at me. The furniture was old with some holes, and many bugs came in as the wall next to the entrance door had a hole in it. The kitchen pots had not been washed in years; they were extremely dirty and kept in a drawer containing a dead bug. I had to buy pots and other kitchenware. When at dinner time I started cooking I realised that tbere were no lighters to turn on the fire to cook, luckily some neighbors lent me one. Cleaning products were not supplied until I asked for them, and the guy at the reception initially accused me of lying when I pointed out that they were described in the offer. The room was supplied with a rug in the bathroom that was so old and ruined it must have had many years. Like pretty much everything else. The furniture in the garden was either broken or extremely worn out, very poorly maintained. The facility is located in a very narrow street and it was a challenge everyday walking to go and get the bus risking to be hit by cars and trucks. .

We liked the straightforward simplicity and the personal contact with the manager. While not “new”, everything is well maintained and repaired/improved as it goes. The simple room was very functional - better than average. The vegetation and the views are fantastic

The public busses are very full, and often take long to arrive…. (But more costly taxis can be called anytime)

We have really enjoyed our stay at Giardino del Sole. We have got a small apartment, but fully furnished and the view from the terrace has been absolutely amazing. The pool is also nice and the breakfast - decent. The bus station is not too far and the public transport works well, making it a viable choice for visitors without a car or scooter.

There was no room cleaning service during our stay, but being an "aparthotel" concept it might have something to do with respecting your privacy. Not a major inconvenience as we have only been there for a few days. The wifi connection did not work inside the apartment, being available on the upper side of the property only (pool and breakfast room).

The pool was tiny, there was no WiFi, the place was difficult to reach, buses were always full and taxus were few and over priced.

Amazing garden and views over the sea. Very tranquil at night and through a day. Bus stop close to the property. Breakfast setting at the terrace with a stunning view. Pool with warm water, but still refreshing on a hot day. Comfortable bed. Very good coffee, fresh croissant, fruits and yogurt for the breakfast.

Room facilities a bit outdated, but it didn’t spoil my experience. A solution to repel mosquitos would have been good - some nights it was quite annoying to chase them, since I liked the windows open at night.

The views were stunning. The breakfast was great, very adequate. Would stay again. It is away from the beach but it is easy to access. Very quiet at night as is set well away from the road. Off street parking was appreciated.

Driveway was very narrow and difficult to get off road easily. Driveway track from road could be improved.

Very friendly staff. The location is great - very cosy, colorful and smells very nice. The sea view is excellent, you can watch the sunset from the terrace full of trees.
