The apartment and entire premises are decorated with really beautiful and unique stonework. Umberto was friendly and helpful. The location is private, safe, and very convenient for various attractions on the island.

Was a little disappointed by the view from our terrace. The left side has a nice view as shown in the picture, but the right side not shown in the picture is completely blocked by trees from another residence. The kitchen was minimally stocked and lacked some things you would expect like a drying rack and potholder.

Great apartment near the best beach in Forio. Apartment has all the amenities you could possibly ask for, since we traveled for a long time it was nice to be able to store food in a full sized fridge and make our own breakfast/coffee. That said, you can also pre-order breakfast from the bar at the property to be enjoyed in your room or from the gorgeous top floor terrace! Super nice pool area and hot tub, which can be used upon request. The hosts are super helpful and will organize things like scooter rentals and taxi rides, give you restaurant recommendations and answer any questions you might have about Forio.

Villa Caruso is very well located overlooking Forio with beautiful views across the bay. The accomodation is beautifully maintained, with lots of thoughtful touches. The balcony/outside space is large (ours had an amazing view across the bay). It's a 5 minute walk down to the beach and a small selection of bar/restaurants (there are many, many more on the other side of Forio near the port. Unfortunately you can't walk there along the seafront (hotels and a headland prevent that). It's a 10 minute drive or taxi to the busier part of the town. The food at the half-dozen or so restaurants nearby is excellent. They are all right on the waters-edge, making it great for romantic meals as the sun sets.

The only thing that was a bit of a shame was that the beautiful bar and restaurant at Villa Caruso was closed. They only open it once a week (on request) if anyone wants to eat there. Pity, as I would've loved to come back after an evening meal and enjoy a few drinks there, as it is so beautifully situated and decorated.

Sits on a hill so the breakfast area has a beautiful view. Hosts are very friendly and very helpful. The beach below was beautiful with crystal clear water.

The location was absolutely amazing. The view from the balcony was stunning. The villa was absolutely spotless. The hosts were so helpful and kind, always eager to help and provide information. They surprised us on the night of our anniversary with champagne in the jacuzzi.

Nothing could have been better. It was probably the best place I have ever stayed in.

I loved that place. We were there with a 6-year old boy and everything was perfect. The helpful stuff, the cleanliness, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen. It was a very nice stay.

Wonderful stay at Villa Caruso! It’s a great property and the rooms are incredibly quiet. The staff is incredibly friendly welcoming - the best! The property is amazing, views are amazing, and staff are amazing!

The only struggle we had was more of being American travelers and not understanding the expectations around reservations for the beach and dinner. We didn’t realize that reservations for the umbrellas were necessary and while the villa was incredibly helpful in booking them, we had to explicitly ask for that help. This should not deter you from visiting this wonderful resort, just a bit of helpful information for any newer travelers.

Villa Caruso is beautiful. our room had the most spectacular view as did the rooftop bar and hot tub. The pool is great with plenty of Sun loungers.

Hosts were delightful and very accommodating and helpful. Provided tips and recommendations for restaurants, and arranging transport to and from the port.

A little further away from Forio town but was walking distance and nice beaches and restaurants nearby anyway.

it is beautiful ,set in a stunning location with lovely views over mountains and the ocean. the location is good, close to a nice beach and some restaurants. would recommend to hire a scooter. the staff was so helpful and friendly. we will definitely go back.

We opened the season (May 1) and not everything was up to speed as per comments from previous years.

For our last four nights on Ischia, we nestled into Forio’s charming 5-star Villa Caruso. The villa itself is a feast for the eyes, exuding a whimsical Gaudi-inspired architecture. The fanciful stonework inside our apartment provided additional charm, and the entire unit’s top-of-the-line accoutrements delightfully spoiled us. Our one-bedroom apartment sported a vast balcony with an amazing mountain-stretching-down-to-the-sea view. We enjoyed delicious morning coffee/lite breakfast provided by the effervescently delightful Gabriella who apparently can be thanked for the villa’s abundant, lovely gardens. When I woke early to see the morning break, I gratefully utilised the exceptionally equipped kitchen to brew coffee; we even picked up light groceries, allowing me to prepare a hearty breakfast that included tomatoes and peppers from the property’s garden (with manager Umberto’s permission). Seeking extreme relaxation, my daughter and I spent an entire day lazily reading in the large, impeccably clean, and comfy hot tub situated on the property’s main terrace with a spectacular view over Forio. The fully furnished main terrace also gave us tranquil places to sit, read, and enjoy the same impressive view. The villa’s close proximity to the Giardini la Mortella allowed me walk over and be completely wowed by this unparalleled garden. Villa Caruso’s location was good for endeavors beyond the famous neighboring garden. We taxied to restaurants further down the beachside in Forio, but easily walked up/down a winding street to the nearby beach, restaurants, and shops, passing lovely little alters everywhere. Umberto, Gabriella, and Rosa provided excellent information, service, and smiles during our stay. We appreciated their attentive endeavors. Nurtured by its hospitable staff, this property is a delightful treasure!

A wonderful stay at Villa Caruso. Newly decorated and very fresh and clean. Apartment was well appointed and very comfortable. Gaby and Umberto were wonderful hosts. Always there if needed, but also very private. They organised transfers from the airport and back to Naples - all very smooth. Breakfast is available and in a lovely setting on the terrace, or in the room if you prefer. Evening dinner is also available on request. The villa is 5 minute walk above San Francesco Bay, which is served by a few good restaurants. La Meridiana is particularly good - lovely people and great food. Villa is less than 10 minutes walk from the CS, CD, 1 and 2 bus routes, if you dont want to rely on your own transport. La Mordella botanical gardens are just 5 mins walk away - lovely. 10 out of 10 - thanks for a great stay. Thoroughly recommended.

The apartment was really nice and really clean. We really enjoyed our stay at Vila Caruso. Umberto and Gaby are the best hosts ever ! They do everything they can to help you. I highly recommend this place we will be back !!

Bedroom a bit bigger

The hosts were in constant communication, scheduled a taxi to take us from the port to residence, and met us to exchange the keys. They really helped make the travel as pain free as possible and even helped us with a dinner reservation our first night since we were arriving later in the day.

The room states that is has a sea view but unfortunately, the view of the water was blocked by a large land mass. We were able to see the sea from the common area patio, but our room did not have a direct view of the water, as advertised. The hot tub was also cold, but that was not a huge deal to us.

Beautiful stay. The staff was super nice and and always available to make any wish to come true. Definitively recommended.
