Location. Apartment size. Kitchen well equipped. AC in living room.

There are no AC in the rooms, only fans. Nevertheless it’s a solid 10 because it’s value for the money. We were a family group of 6. Note: we didn’t check the checkin instructions and had to pick up the apartment keys 3km away.

Everything about this place was great. The hotel is just a few minutes from the Puerta del Sol, making it easy to find public transportation (Metro, taxi, bus, etc.) to get around the city. The staff was wonderful, the room had plenty of space, a little balcony to enjoy some views, a shower with great water pressure, and even a kitchenette that we used so we didn’t have to spend a lot at restaurants. Breakfast was very good; the servers were kind and kept us well-fed!

breakfast was not good for me. And I bought my breakfast stuff from Carrefour and prepared it myself in the room.

didn’t like the breakfast. I was also charged twice for the stay (and had to pay a bank commission AND conversion twice) just because the owners preferred to be paid in USD when I explicitly wanted to pay in EUR to avoid additional charges. left a bad taste in my mouth.

Apartment is located with stairs/lift next door to restaurant Asador Vasco En Busca del Tiempo, breakfast is served here which includes coffee, orange juice, ham and cheese toastie, yogurt, cold meats, boiled egg, spanish tortilla and bread rolls. Keys collected and returned to reception desk at no. 4 building. Central location to all shops, bars, restaurants, 5 mins walk to Sol station. The street is pedestrianised, the apartment had balconies right on top of busy bustling street/was noisy till 3.30am hours. Comfy beds, good shower. Kitchenette doesn't have a kettle but has a bialetti, sandwich toastie maker, microwave, stove, oven, washing machine and large fridge/small freezer.

No space to store luggage at the hotel after check-out.

The place is kind of old and got a damp smell. It is set up like a hostel. Some twin beds do not even have a headboard. Leaning your back against the cold wall is not very pleasant. One night I tried to turn on the heater. It didn't work. The receptionist was not able to help and told me to wait until the following day for maintenance.

dim lighting. too expensive. broken handles on drawers. No Iron, Wine glass, corkscrew. INSISTED ON PAYIN ON CARD IN £st INSTEAD OF LOCAL CURRENCY. which incurred bank charges. they have option to pay in cash but who carries €500 in cash these days. this was not notified in advance on the booking.com listing. breakfast is dreadful. stale bread. yogurt’s supplied weren’t chilled. asked for a cup of hot water and was given a glass of tap water instead. charged £3.50 for a croissant which is far more expensive than the airport.

It is close to key tourist spots in the city. Breakfast is yum and quite local!

Elevator was slow and you need to go up and down on a stair to reach it.

This place was perfect for me. Central, big room, kitchenette, great aircon. I was a solo traveller but they gave me a room with 4 beds and very spacious. Location is super next to Sol and metro, on a street with lots of small cafes and restaurants. Staff were friendly and they let me leave my bags at reception after checkout until flight time. Also I got breakfast included at their great restaurant beside the entrance.

Nothing really.. There is a lift but still a small flight of stairs to get to your apt. If that's an issue for you.
