Beautiful location close to stunning National Park. Clean, quiet and comfortable.

They were keen to sell me activities before my stay, but perhaps it was off-season when I arrived, as there was nothing at all taking place. I didn't see any members of staff or other guests, at check-in or throughout my 1 day stay (although it was a Sunday)

Very good location. Abisko is super small yet so beautiful. You can walk 5 minutes from hostel to the lake and admire Northern Lights. Very close to hiking spots as well. Very nice personel. You can rent overalls for free although we didn't do it. But that's a great option for people who might need it. Our room was very basic. Super small and without window but for 1 night it did well.

The staff is great, incredibly friendly and they help you as much as they can. They give you for free the boots and coats if you don’t have it.

I have a single room (no window) in the hostel area, it was impossible to sleep until everyone decided to sleep because the walls are made with paper and it was located in the entrance. Also, the hostel was full, but they were cleaning only once a day, so the shared bathroom was really dirty even in the afternoon.

Super nice staff, very thoughtful! They are very experienced about guests' schedule and plan, will let you stay inside after checkout to keep warm. The kitchen is big enough for cooking and heating. As the main activity provider and partner of northern light tours, living here is very convenient to join the tours. And you may see the aurora from hotel when it appears clear.

I got nothing to complain about my stay.

Close to the train station and the national park. The photo tour to Norway to see the fjords was beautiful. Philippe is a great tour guide.

Unfortunately I did not see the northern lights as it is possibly too early in the year. No snow so not much activities available.

Facilities other than room, staff, location

Room was way to small for 3 people, zero ventilation

Had a shared bed room in a 2-bed room apartment. It had all the required facilities. Option to see Northern lights through the window.

The bed room is quite small. You can barely walk after placing your luggage.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, Klaus. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Shared kitchen, bathroom, and shower are kept clean and very accommodating. Dining area was spacious for groups. Free parking on premise. Very close to Abisko National Park. Check in was extremely easy, organized, and detailed instructions given to you ahead of time. There's a souvenir/gift shop and tours you can book with them. All around, great value for your buck!

Nice kitchen and staff. Also close to the grocery store and has a free parking lot.

Sorely missed a drying room for soaking wet clothes and shoes... Too little air flow for a room without a window and no way to adjust this. A frying pan that actually sits flat on the stove, an option to recycle (Kitchen otherwise great!) and a map with more information on where to find things in the guesthouse would also be awesome!

Everything you need in the middle of nowhere, plus supermarket next door

Booked a room in an apartment with three double rooms in the highest floor. Compared to all other bookable rooms it offers the most privacy, view and an own saune. One room out of three got its own balcony with a stunning view.

Its close to perfect, but you still share bath, toilet, kitchen with random and changing people over time and there is only one washing Maschine for the whole complex in another building. Maybe the prices are too high for the comfortably offered.

The kitchen was good and well equipped with basic items. The outside tables in patio were the best part to enjoy meals with a great view. My did not have any windows though. The location of hotel is very near to the train station.

Room locations could have been better.

- very kind stuff, offered us a card to use the kitchen + bath room after the check out - super close to the trainstation Abisko Östra & to a supermarkte - nice area, walking distance to the national park, perfect for seeing the northern lights

- our room didn’t have a window which was ok but also some daylight would have been nice ;) - kitchen is rather same and was always pretty busy but still totally ok :) there’s enough space to sit and eat (also outside)
