El lugar tiene una ubicación excelente, en el corazón de la medina. Las camas son cómodas y el wifi funciona muy bien. El lugar es limpio y es un buen punto para conocer gente. Si la idea es recorrer Essaouira a un precio cómodo y vivir la parte más local de la medina, es el lugar ideal.

Hay dos cosas que me parecen un poco "engañosas" respecto a lo que se promociona aquí. Primero, la terraza. Decidí reservar aquí pensando que podría pasar tiempo en mi computadora o leyendo en una de las mesas. Fue una gran decepción saber que para poder usarla hay que consumir sí o sí en el restaurant, ya que lo que aquí se muestra no es parte del hostel. Si bien el hostel tiene una terraza para usar es muy muy pequeña y con almohadones en el suelo. Iba con intenciones de trabajar allí y fue imposible (porque además el restaurante es carísimo en comparación con lo que cobran lugares de alrededor). La segunda cosa es la cocina: está cerrada desde hace siete meses, aunque aquí se pone como una facilidad.

Amazing hostel. We only stayed here for the night, but it was the best two days out of 11 days in Morocco. Staff is super friendly, the residents are welcoming and easy-going. Stable wi-if, great location in a quiet alley in the medina. Comfy bed, nice and clean room.

Everything was great.

The staff really makes you feel like home and helped. My boyfriend was sick the two nights we stayed and they were concerned about his well-being and helped us both navigating our 2 days. The restaurant is very good and has a lovely atmosphere as same for the rest of the Hostel!

It is located in one of the prime location where we can have good Quality time.

Interiors seems to be very outdated can be renovated for better ambiance.

The atmosphere was great, the residents were friendly, and the food on the rooftop terrace was excellent and affordable. It reminded me of my hippy days in the 60s! The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and efficient. I strongly recommend the Atlantic 'paradise' Hostel for those who wish to experience the real Moroccan Medina experience.

Constructive criticisms only - a new set of pans for the kitchen would be handy.

The staff including Sara, Aicha, and Khalid were excellent. Khalid received me and explained everything well. The girls were so warm and welcoming. The high rating is for the staff. The vibe is very good here, especially the salon area near reception and the 360 panorama view from the terrace. And the location is right in the medina.

Towel could have been complimentary.

Friendly helpful staff

No free breakfast like other places. Expert travelers like us should be rewarded, at least with free breakfast included.

the rooftop terrace is very impressive. the hostel is in a good location in the Medina and is very quiet. the bathrooms are clean and have very hot water. the toilet on the rooftop terrace has the best view in Essaouira.

the kitchen could do with some attention. the hand towels for people to dry their hands should be replaced daily. new sponges are required in the kitchen.

All the staff is very friendly, the rooftop terrace is perfect for chilling, socializing and seeing the sunset, and the food served there at the bar is tasty. Even though it's a cheap hostel it keeps the minimum standards and since each floor can only be accessed by the people staying on it (they have security codes to enter the floor and room) the cleanness level doesn't get affected so much during the day. A very good budget friendly stay.

used to be a nice kinda hippy hostel, now turned in a wanna be fancy hostel with an expensive overcharged restaurant on the terrace...music is bad and the stuff on the terrace always tellin u what (not) to do...much better before,sorry

Great view from the rooftop terrace!

Rooftop was nice. The staff was helpful. The view was outstanding and the location was great.

They had maintenance work during our stay. They painted walls and stair railings, which made it difficult and even dangerous to walk the stairs.
