Breakfast good

Location is not satisfactory

hotels position is getting bad day by day staff are under trained maybe due to pressure on low pays....

very dissatisfied employees it seems and all are working under compulsion...I have stayed many times here but every time getting bad experiences.....

the property published that the breakfast was included in the room price but it wasn’t

Location - high density immediately outside

The location of the hotel is a plus. The city is quite accessible from the property and that is something I really like about staying at Lalit. The food is decent, however a bit overpriced.

There was maintenance work going on in the room next to ours, which resulted in a really unpleasant experience. We made repeated calls to the concierge to let them know about it, however nothing was done. We mentioned this while checking out from the hotel as well, but nobody in the front desk was bothered about it, let alone sorry for the poor experience. Highly disappointing!

Location to the centre

I think the quality of breakfast has certainly deteriorated since 2017 on my last visit … There is no front concierge to open the heavy door Most of the time it seems unmanned people having to push luggage themselves inside .. unlike star hotels

Every thing was too good but the front office team of Papiya, Debashish and Fazal were exceptional. they were too helpful, courteous and soft to talk.

Absolutely delicious breakfast. The staff was wonderful. Great general manager and concierge etc..

We liked the swimming pool

Staff at dinner were not good - Service was poor.

Excellent helpful staff.

Breakfast during busy period could be better. No self-serve tea/coffee and trying to get a waiter to bring you one sometimes took a while.

I lost my credit card in the city of Calcutta and the reservation manager Mr. Rima Biswas wanted to cancel the 3-night hotel stay for only 500 dollars because I could not change the credit card on the website. Can you believe it!! Only 500 worthless dollars!! It was a very bad experience!! I traveled to different countries and stayed in different hotels, but none of them wanted to cancel the hotel reservation because I couldn't get the credit card. About the food: When we entered the hotel, it was Valentine's Day, and it seemed that the food from the previous nights was reheated every day, some for breakfast and some for dinner. Breakfast was of very low quality. Boiled eggs are always cold. Not even having a container of honey, or if you had one, it would run out very soon. The toilet was taken on the first day, and after calling the reception, someone came and fixed it after 15 minutes In my opinion: with this admission and reception , the hotel is at the level of 4 stars, not 5 stars!!

Staff in Breakfast section are very unprofessional. Breakfast not up to 5 star standard.

Wonderful stay as always, Team is always helpful especially Orko and Tayab.
