La atención del personal, siempre coordiales, y el tamaño de la habitación muy confortable.

Cosas pequeñas como que la llave de la habitación es de las antiguas, la tostadora del desayuno no funcionaba correctamente,o que la parte de la playa sin rocas estaba un poco más al costado y no al exactamente al frente del hotel

El paisaje y el ambiente

Que me impidieran usar una mesa en la cena de la primera noche porque supuestamente estaba reservada. Nunca me dijeron que había que reservar. La mesa "reservada" no se ocupó esa noche.

Facilities are pristine and staff very attentive. Food quality is above average to very good, although they can improve it to awesome. Definitely a great place to relax , especially for families with kids

Having a bar on the beach instead of just in pool or restaurant area, with adequate background music would enhance experience. The dirt road from Panamericana Highway to hotel needs to be paved right away

Hotel was very comfortable and premises at high standard. Service was very good and staff always ready to please

There are many rocks in the ocean in front of the Hotel which made the swimming very difficult. In fact, I ran into one large rock while swimming and scratched my arms trying to avoid the rock

This hotel is simply stunning. The food and drinks were amazing. Our room was lovely. We picked a sea view and were so glad that we did. It was amazing to wake up to the sight and sound of the sea. Ultimate relaxation after the Inca Trail. There are plenty of places to sunbathe peacefully. It was our honeymoon and the hotel gave us fizz and chocolate covered strawberries on arrival, which was a lovely touch. Alvaro was an outstanding waiter - thanks for your amazing English.

The sand bikes were not really rideable due to rusting. It’s partly our fault because our Spanish is not good, but there was only one waiter that spoke excellent English.

Ok so we paid $1600 for 4 nights at Arennas Mancora We where planning on having the best hotel experience *5 star hotel with great reviews.. We did have a great time BUT there are a few things that did bother us. 1. The service - front desk in particular are NOT nice, some have attitude and didnt give us complete answer to our questions - We waited for 2 days out of 4 for bathrobes.. (the lady from the front desk did it in spite) - The front desk didnt inform us about movie night (so we missed it) didnt inform us about champagne tasting and Pisco tasting. Although we asked to see the itinerary they refused to give it to us but only "tell" us what is planned 2. The staff does NOT speak English.. - Nor at the restaurant (bad experience) they keep speaking Spanish although they see we dont understand - The Pisco tasting was not in English although ONLY English speaking people participated (he translated with his phone) *NOT WHAT I WOULD EXPECT FROM A 5 STAR HOTEL 3. The Jacuzzi was constantly cold and after asking a few times to make it worm we gave up.. 4. WORST EXPERIENCE - we where planning on getting a massage (actually this is why we choose this hotel BUT the massage was CLOSED on a Wednesday - when we asked the front desk we where told that there is nothing to do - NOT AN ANSWER I WOULD EXPECT FROM A 5 STAR HOTEL 5. We choose to eat dinner at the restaurant. On our last night we ordered pizza and a burger The pizza was cold and the burger wasn't made enough.. When we told this to the waiter he said sorry but there is nothing he can do. He asked if we are enjoyingand we said no and he said oi thats a bad experience BUT DID NOTHING THIS IS NOT THE EXPERIENCE I WOULD EXPECT FROM A FIVE STAR HOTEL Waiting your response

Beautiful location, nice and quiet. Nice view from beachfront villas. Very good food for lunch & dinners, tasty and fresh. Very good room cleaning everyday.

We had already a bad experience before we arrived. We had booked an ocean view suite. One week before we arrived they tried to preauthorized on our card, which they could not as it was debit. At that time we had very little connexion as we were hiking. We managed to find a sattelite phone to send a message kindly asking to hold the room and giving a credit card for pre authorization. We received no response and when we had connexion again we realized the hotel has cancelled our reservation without notice. We had to rebook but ended up with 2 different rooms to cover our stay. They never apologized for that. Welcome at the hotel was very cold, we felt like disturbing . No welcome drink nor speech, we were kept standing in front of the desk replying to « name please, passport please, follow me please », Breakfast is very poor and badly presented, Supposedly starts at 7 but not fully ready before 8am. Service is slow at the restaurant (though waiters are nice and try to do their best). Some waiters speak only spanish, no english. Jacuzzi had never been functioning and pool was cold. Ocean can be dangerous and water activities should be forbidden on days when there are lots of currents (i nearly drowned myself the last day). For paddle / kayak etc a liability paper is to be signed each time you take one at the reception desk, such process is a pain and never seen elsewhere in Peru. It would be more efficient to have clients sign it once and for all during check in. Rooms feel empty, they lack decoration. Rooms need refurbishing (stains on walls, rust on metallic part etc). Stains on all cushions in the bar and pool area. Need for cushions on restaurant chairs (uncomfortable). Beach umbrellas are highly dangerous (poorly fixed, they go out with the wind and land on people, this makes the security agent laughs).
