Isabel is really nice and always was in touch until we got to the house. The house is very nice, we stayed at the White House. Anyone looking for a spot surrounded with nature and have all the commodities for summer vacations will love this house.

Isabel is very friendly and we received a warm welcome! Our children loved chasing the cats and we basically had the pool to ourselves. Our dinner was absolutely amazing - Paulo is a most excellent cook!

We travelled by train and taxi and there really isn't much to do if you don't have a car! The nearest village was just a bit too far for us to walk with a 4 and 1 year old. I was disappointed that there wasn't a hot tub and we also didn't use the boat on the lake. I also hadn't appreciated that the food truck isn't open all of the time - but the food is wonderful when you do have the chance!

We enjoyed the countryside and peacefulness around. We had a cottage with a swimming pool. Everyone enjoyed it.

The kind and warm people who run the place, the cute and nicely equipped chalet and the pool (the water was perfect!) just outside your door:) Surrounded by many trees it was an idyllic setting. We jumped in many times a day, including before breakfast and after dinner;)

We enjoyed being greeted warmheartedly and when there were problems they were solved immediately. There was a nice cat on our property.

The location wasn’t as beautiful as we expected from the pictures. It’s just outside a village in a remote area. Maybe our expectation was that if we book something 30 minutes away from the sea then we would be in full nature. And that was just not the case. There are neighbouring families living around that are quite noisy. At first view the house looks quite nice but if you spend more time there then it’s actually quite rundown. With very little investment great things could be achieved at this location. So actually if the place was a bit cheaper we would rate this differently. However having been to much more amazing places in the country arriving at this place which was actually more expensive was a bit of a surprise to us. However to be fair we believe that you can still have a nice vacation here.

The calmness of the location and the private garden, allowed for a quiet family stay. The house is cozy and sleeping in a raised bed was quite fun! We had regular visits from a cat that seems to live somewhere near, which was a good surprise for our kid. There are also goats, horses and ducks in the nearby lands belonging to Vale da Silva Villas, for some nature communion. It's quite near to get to Aveiro, Ilhavo and Agueda by car, which was our plan.

No major complaints. I wish there was some better coverage for the windows to allow for sleeping until a bit later than sunrise, but it wasn't a big deal. The access road being a dirt road also makes it a bit tricky with rainy weather, but again, not a big deal.
