Lovely Hotel.

Good location as very short walk to the beach

Our rooms were situated outside a gents toilet that meant the corridor outside our room reeked of urine. Inside the room was not clean and decor was very tired. I found hairs on the surfaces and snot on the tiles in the bathroom. The single bed was extremely uncomfortable so I didn’t sleep, just felt like lying on springs. The breakfast food was basic with very few continental options. We therefore chose a cooked breakfast but my daughter found a hair in her food so we ended up getting something much nicer at a Tesco Express. I can’t believe I paid £120 for this.

Lovely breakfast which also seemed popular with the locals, friendly and helpful staff, chilled atmosphere. Very helpful when my kids needed assistance, and asked the next day if everything was okay. Attentive staff, yet very relaxed home away from home feeling to the whole place. Pool was a real bonus, not too deep, 0.9 metres, so my kids felt confident as they could stand up. No time limit to how long you could swim, had the pool to ourselves mainly. We ate at the hotel, prices were fair. Beds seemed hard upon first sitting, but we're actually very comfy. Good facilities, nice location, quite near to the sea and town, a good park nearby for the kids to play in, and shops not far. Overall a really lovely stay, would come back.

Not much to complain about, some areas of the hotel needing renovating; slightly damp smelling in the hallways, old fashioned carpets, a tart up of the carpark side frontage etc, but some renovation works you could see have happened so an ongoing mission I guess.

Always stay here. Great location. Easy for the buses. Nice location for our dog.

The room door was very hard to lock and unlock toilet seat broken window stuck not opening shower was cold

awful hotel. the accommodation was dirty. the bed sheets were stained with poo, windows didn’t open, room next to boiler and we had 2 dogs. nothing was clean, wallpaper peeling, bed was like bricks I could go on. to top it off I was given a drink which tasted like cleaning fluid and spent the night throwing up with no action taken from the hotel other than assuming I was lying. I’m currently in the process of sending a refund and they are being incredibly difficult. I would like to say the staff were the only good thing but as they are now not refunding or offering any compensation I can’t even say that. I’m not one to write bad reviews and really tried to leave it to see if they would resolve but as they Havnt I have no choice. very disappointed

Lovely out door space, lovely private pool at the back of hotel. Room was clean and spacious (80). Bed really comfortable had a view of pool out of our bedroom window. staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good buffet so you could have as much or as little as you want( sausages not so good) always kept topped up and hot.some places look a bit tired but don’t let that put you off. Good value for money.

Rooms are dated, however the price is very reasonable so for somewhere to rest your head at night it was more than suitable.

What a lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff! Breakfast for £7 was amazing and it was surprising to find there was evening entertainment on 5 nights a week. It was the ideal place for a 3 night stay between two caravan breaks.

Staff were great, helpful, and friendly. Bar and bar staff and entertainment were good.

The photos on Booking.com make it look 10 times better. The hotel and the room we had needed updating, and I hate leaving negative reviews. The pool was unusable as I went to check it out with my daughter.it hadn't been cleaned and advertised as a heated swimming pool, so we were disappointed. The help yourself breakfast was not hot enough for my liking.
