Hi all!
We moved into an apartment with no water.
In the morning we woke up completely bitten, and there were BUGS in the bed.
It was awful, there were a lot of them.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND PERON.
And we were not overpowered anywhere, we had to look for a new home.They are in no hurry to return money for accommodation.

Nothing. We contacted the Smartflats service desk to get help for our negative expierience, but they are very slow and didn't help us out. It was only when we contacted the Booking.com service desk that they started to show some willingness.
The appartment was in a very bad state. You could tell it was not cleaned for months. Also, a lot of the advertised properties was not in place. To give a brief summary:
- the sink in the kitchen is upside down in its frame and there is no faucet;
- the sink in the bathroom is jammed and impossible to use;
- the toilet is broken, you can't flush it;
- the beds are not in place and the mattresses are scattered around the room
- the shower is very dirty; and
- there is no television in the living room, where this was advertised.

The space and the rooms
The place was filthy. Clearly not been cleaned properly for a long time. The floor was covered in bits and was gritty. The picture windows which should have been nice were totally filthy. There was actually greasy imprints of body parts on the windows, it was grim.

Great central position. Clean. Fridge.
Tiny lift, but we were pleased there was one! Only 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper was left for us for 3 days! No rubbish bin or tea towel made things a little awkward. Perhaps these were an oversight and not normal.

Easy access via code sent to my phone before my arrival. No keys were needed to access the apartments. The locations was in the middle of Liege, but still in a quite corner of the city. The apartment was cheap if shared with a group of guests.
The apartments were in a devastating condition. The promised beds were insufficient, two sleeping couches were broken. The guests were forced to take out the mattress and sleep on the floor. The apartment was swept clean but not properly clean. Dust and dirt could be found all over the place. There was unfortunately only one toilet for six persons. We have booked three apartments for a large group and only one of the cooking spots on one stove worked - all others were broken!
The reception caused several times confusion. Either I was getting information to apartments in a different city (Brussels) or confusing information was given like a confirmation of only one apartment even though I booked three.

Receiving the instructions for self check-in was a bit messy and delayed.
We got an apartment different from the one we have booked, was the sofa super dirty and the sides falling all time.
The water in the toilet was leaking all the time and the light in the living room was so dim.
Also some cooking equipments was so dirty and unhealthy.

Great location and good size.
Floors were very dirty. Really bad water pressure in the shower. Didn’t get bedlinen for the sofa bed despite repeatedly asking for it. Other sofa looked like had been chewed on ny wild animals.

Paying close attention to this company to company is not so easy when you think some of their apartments are good and others are rubbish. They charge a price that is not worth it sometimes they charge a deposit of 300 stamps for the apartment that doesn't even have an elevator, so be very careful, pay close attention, people.

Location was central so good for walking.
This accommodation was certainly NOT the picture shown on the booking and I would not describe it as an apartment. It was a long, thin area which went from entrance to small kitchen space (two people could not pass at the same time) to a bedroom to a shower/toilet room. There was a small rooftop terrace - this WAS the picture shown on the booking, taken from a very clever angle and the 'city view' was further rooftops.
The main reason for booking this 'apartment' was that it was supposed to contain a washing machine which I knew we would need after over two weeks of travelling. There was no washing machine. I contacted both the number provided by Smartflats City and booking.com but got no answer from either - so much for the 'we're available 24 hours a day'!
So - no washing machine and no response from anyone. The dining table was hinged to the wall and we wouldn't have been able to walk round it to the other side if we had used it. No toaster or clothes rack - and a desk? Definitely not! Not happy.
The entrance to the flats was very dark and dismal and absolutely reeked of damp but part of this was probably down to the fact that there was a huge (at least as tall as a person) cageful of damp and dirty bedding and towels sitting in the corner by the lift - this did not move for the two days that we were there. It was also over a day before a couple of dirty white pieces of linen or something (didn't examine them too carefully!) were moved from the stairwell. But the damp smell was so overpowering that it was obviously more than just wet towels.
At just over £50 a night I didn't expect luxury but I did expect to have what was advertised in the booking. The only saving grace was that everywhere was clean.
I can only assume that this 'apartment' and the others in the building - maybe 6 in total? - are geared towards younger people who just want a bed for the night.

A huge lack of respect, with the guest, I stayed in the apartment, I arrived at the apartment dirty, dirty sheets, dirty towels, nothing clean a real disorganization, I contacted the central to inform that the apartment was dirty, I filmed showing it, but they will ignore me , there was a man who was washing some sheets and towels I went to him to ask for more he informed that he would not give, much less clean that I had to call the central! a total lack of consideration as we paid and the value was not low at all! nobody solves anything they don't answer you!!! lousy apartment stinking hallway disgusting!

The location and property were excellent
Facilities were very poor and believed we were treated unfairly by the property management team. We completely ignore for water tab and the kitchen cooker was completely broken. They sent someone however, he refused to fix the damaged Facilities only to come just after we were about to check out saying ''I want to repair the flats for the next guest coming today'' which suggest to me that we were not regarded as a customer. The treatment was very bad and unfair

I arrived at the place the bathroom faucet was broken, the shower did not adjust between cold and hot so the water was only very hot, the heating in the apartment did not work, the apartment was very cold, we called and sent several messages to the employees I gave a position, until after 2 days the technician came and fixed everything, everything was great with the heating until after 2 days it didn't work anymore and the worst thing was that we wouldn't have hot water anymore, so we were in the cold and without heating and no hot water to take a shower, impossible we called several times we texted several times but no one was able to answer us saw the WhatsApp message but didn't respond didn't give any position, we were the last 3 days without heating and without hot water!!!! and the lack of respect he had with us is absurd!

Location is perfect
We stood outside at night for 2 hours because the door would not open. Smartflats was not reachable at all. Security and police couldn't do anything, luckily the door opened after 2 hours, or we had to sleep on the streets. When we called the next day, Smartflats said you could always reach them. Not true!!
There was a lot of mold in the apartment, the shower was cold, the stove had a hole in it and the heating didn't work. Don't go to Smartflats Liege!

The location of the property is good.
We rented 3 apartments and we had hot water in only one of them! It is extremaly difficult to contact the property staff, they are ignoring messages quite often. There are many issues in the apartment that should be fixed becouse they looks unpleasent.

I rented an apartment they will put me in a lower place than I rented
I stayed in the apartment for two days without hot water I called the company they told me I couldn't do anything ,
for those who want a stress free stay this is not a suitable apartment , please do not rent this apartment it was my worst stay , and a very big disappointment with BOOKING.COM , which did not solve anything , I HAD TO LEAVE THE APARTMENT FOR HORRIBLE REASONS

room not the one we booked. dirty, mold in the bath, kitchen appliances not working. during the whole stay no one came to clean the apartment and changed the towels. windows so dirty as to be gray. tragedy.

Space was larger than expected
Rooms were dark with poor air circulation. No toilet roll in the bathroom. Mosquitos in the room. Not a comfortable environment at all.

Kitchen missing knife, eponze. bed cushions not comfortable and I found one chair was broken. By that broken chair my boy fall downd.
