breakfast was excellent, good choice, portion size very pleasing and served quickly by very friendly and obliging staff. breakfast area was always clean, tidy and at all times well stocked. Breakfast was excellent and this carried on to dinner which consisted of a good variety and always clean cooked and hot.

such a very small comment to make but a chest of drawers in our room would have been very useful instead of small cabinets.

Some staff were stand off ish and not open to receiving constructive feedback. Room was very small and wet room arrangement not nice - grubby and impractical. evening meal was delicious, spoilt by margarine on the bread. Breakfast was nice but I like to chose my hot food option not have it done for me.

Good Location, Good Food

Unfriendly Staff, "Donna not included" ate first night in restaurant, goof food, bit pricy for what is was. After requesting breakfast takeaway, was never ready on time, even giving the order time by 9 pm the previous night, had to wait every morning costing to my taxi time waiting outside. Asked for someone to have a look on the 1st night of 5 at the shower in my room as it was faulty, was told at reception that it would be looked at. NOTHING Happened and it was still the same when I checked out. What really was disappointing was that when I called up after check out for a V.A.T Receipt, I was met with someone on the telephone "Michelle" with deep signs and abrupt answers & rude !! This Confirmed to me that I would not be spending my hard earned cash in a place that cannot be polite and appreciative, especially in times like now. Lovely Room Though and Comfy Bed !!

not their fault given location but parking was limited. hard to complain as there is nothing they can do about it.

Location was lovely. Room was perfect, lovely and clean. Could not fault it. Staff were very polite and helpful.

The fact we were only staying for 1 night. Will definitely stay again soon.

Breakfast very good ,food in bistro excellent & menu offers a wide choice.staff very welcoming ,friendly & helpful. Rooms are spotless,spacious,comfortable & have character.even the outside terrace has been created to a high standard with wheelchair access. The Queen Phillippa offers excellent value for money. Ive stayey there a couple of times while working in the kent area and will stay there again without doubt.

We stayed due to a wedding the next day. The hotel were kind enough to let us extend our check out time which was fantastic. Breakfast was nice and the room was clean. Both myself and my son slept well however my husband found the bed a little uncomfortable but I feel this is purely down to preference for firmness of mattress.

The only issue I initially found was the limited parking. However we parked in a car park opposite the hotel with no trouble.
