Great location near attractions, train station, Tivoli center. Host was wonderful and had someone there to greet me and show me to the room. Even had a cozy electric fireplace heater as it was a little rainy, chilly when I arrived.

The host Laura was super friendly and helpful with directions since GPS failed us on final destination. She also gave us a pass that offered a small percentage to local restaurants that she recommended.

Wifi did not work with multiple passwords. Bathroom was tiny with the toilette and shower being a 2 in 1 situation.

There were some issues with the room but Lara was a super friendly host who tried to help me with everything. She also gave me recommendations for what to do in Tivoli. The location is very central and the value for money was very good. It's a pretty room in a historical building. The bed had a decent foam mattress with pillows on the harder side.

When I arrived the room stank of chlorine so I left the windows open for the rest of the day to get rid of the smell. The biggest issue was that the wifi signal could not reach my room. Lara tried to help by giving me her personal wifi password but that wasn't really working either, so my best option was to use the spotty mobile data. My street view room was very noisy throughout the night as there are multiple bars and restaurants on the same street. There was also plenty of noise coming from the stairwell through the badly insulated door. Unfortunately after the stay Lara asked me to leave a perfect score in exchange for a future discount which is not very honest behaviour.

Location was great and the neighborhood also.

The toilet was way too small and uncomfortable.

Position

The location is not economy but should be specified on booking as super economy given the size and the bathroom which is not a "private bathroom" but is a 1m x 1m niche which in fact provides for the shower above the toilet and therefore when you do the shower invites you to wet the whole bathroom including toilet. The reception is not there because the collection and return of keys is delegated to a bar so the host is not seen ... While from the day before arrival until the day after departure the host contacts us several times to request everything that is already required on booking, eg arrival and departure times, sending documents via what's up to check-in remotely, etc. therefore booking information is requested from the customer unnecessarily on Booking. . It would be advisable for the host to check the apartment first before having the keys of the accommodation delivered to third parties, because it would avoid the customer having to warn that for example the wardrobe is unusable because the doors are locked and that worse is requested to the customer from the host to try to unblock ... Yet see review 19 July 2021 the problem was already reported but not solved .. Furthermore, it was necessary to report to the host that even the wi-fi of the apartment cannot be connected with any of the passwords provided, but obviously this was also known because we were told that despite the fact that we CANNOT connect the wi fi it works best if you stay close to the door ...... But we have been given additional credentials to connect to an alternative wi fi network. The worst thing happened is that during all the messages sent via whatsapp, just before arrival the customer is asked to pay in cash, leaving them unattended in the room ... This request is reminded to the host with a lot of screenshots that Booking asks for a guarantee card therefore we ask to proceed with the debit on this card ...

The room is located in an old traditional Italian house. It is a very nice and cozy place to stay: equipped with all the necessary furniture, having a modern outlook. Owner is very friendly and eager to help. I enjoyed it very much.

Because of the old houses and thick walls, the internet is very poor in the entire area. Also, bathroom is very small. The keys must be taken from a bar located nearby, before 22.00.

Perfect location in the old town. could not have been better. I had the double bedroom which was lovely and perfect for my needs. Lara is an absolutely fantastic host and you really could not wish for anyone more hospitable.

Lara the host was very hospitable and the accommodation is in an historic and picturesque part of Tivoli close to Villa d'Este and Villa Gregoriana.
